My family has been to Golden Chick for the 4th time (both in Round Rock and Leander) since we tried it out 5 days ago. Best... valued fried chicken hands down. We loved their wicked wings the most. Juicy, crispy and hot. The best we?ve had in friedchicken chains. We had them 3 times in 4 days. Their chick salad is also very good. Tasted so good. Better than Raisin Canes, used to go there a lot till I tried Golden Chick again. Tenders are usually really big and freshly... made, I get it with large Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. Their Catfish is also really good especially because they make it freshwhen you order it which means you have to wait but it?s worth it imo especially since Cherry Creek Catfish closed down becauseof Govt enforced covid lockdowns which forced a lot of businesses to permanently close. This place used to be amazing but lately the last few times it?s been bad and and the employees do not listen to the needs of... their customers! I got the 4 piece tenders meal and the tenders were so tiny, asked for lite ice in soda and it?s filled to thetop. Going to avoid it for a while and hopefully it gets better again! Read more
I love Golden Chick! I usually get the traditional fried chicken (I get wings), fries, and okra?I have never been disappointed.... But my favorite part is the jalapeño poppers!
