Reviews for Bella Sera of Leander in Leander, TX
My favorite Italian restaurant in Austin! The staff is so friendly and everything I have tried is amazing!
Stopped in for lunch with a small group on Friday. Parking is out front and we were seated right away. They offer a wide menu of... Italian favorites, as well as wine and beer. Complimentary bread was brought to the table, delicious! We had the shrimp scampi, the pasta sampler, salads and soup. All were very tasty and generous portions. Also, we had the calamari appetizer which wastasty. Service was good and prompt, and the food was served hot. Overall, a good dining experience. Read more
Our waiter, Fabio, was quick, attentive and accommodating to requests. The food is authentic and tasty as other authentic... Italian restaurants. The price is reasonable at about $35 per person for an entree, 2 beverages (tea and coffee) and dessert. Read more
Nice local Italian restaurant and a better substitute for the Olive Garden chain. Fresh quality food and great service.
We are visiting the area and searched for an Italian restaurant nearby, and we were thrilled to discover Bella Sera. The service... was fantastic and the food was amazing. We learned that it's a family establishment, and our server shared that he had 20 yearsof experience in Italian restaurant service, starting in New York. He made an excellent wine recommendation, and finished us offwith the perfect dessert choice. As we were gushing over the deliciousness of every dish, one member of our party did note onetiny flaw: pacing. It feels weird to complain about getting our food too quickly, but we didn't have time to finish one coursebefore the next one arrived at the table. Don't let that one little faux pas keep you away though. Bella Sera is well worth avisit. Read more
We are so happy to have an Italian restaurant in Leander! Yey! Great people, great service, great food, and great menu! I?ve... been reading the reviews and it seems like there is a common feedback around the ?lack of flavor?. I had chicken parm. I couldsee why people would want a bit more of a kick. The sauce was sweet. The chicken needed a bit more seasoning. But it?s not thatit wasn?t edible. It was very good. Now I?m curious to know if the recipes are from a particular cuisine style. Amazing bread! Enjoyed the calamari and my Alfredo. My wife said she loved her Bella sera chicken pasta. Definitely worth it.
Ordered a lasagna for pick up. Timely yes, but it has one noodle and mostly just a bowl of cheese and grease. Needless to say... not worth the price since it's not filling. The side salad was also meh. I ordered a Cesar salad it's just blended lettuce withliterally 5 croutons. No parm no Romain lettuce in the blend with meh Cesar dressing. Not with the money. Read more
