The worst experience I?ve EVER had dining out! If your looking for a nice place to try THIS is NOT it!!! Firstly, when you walk... in every person in the place just stares at you, very unwelcoming feeling. The waitress speaks no English, would typically notbe an issue, still easy enough to communicate if both try, but the fact they they don?t even try to communicate/ understand is atotal turn off. We ordered the carne asada to share it came out within 5 minutes I was initially impressed and quickly realizedit was far to fast since it was old and COLD not even warm. We couldn?t even eat it. When we asked why it was cold to thewaitress that brought the food and was speaking some English to us we were not responded to just ignored.... The only thing thatwas actually warm were the tortillas. So we paid $30 for tortillas a few tortillas! I?ll never go back or recommend this placeto anyone! Read more

Walked in and everyone stares. Expensive and small portions. Waitress kept coughing all over. Difficult to find someone to... understand your order as they do not speak english, meals ordered were mixed up, taken back and not brought back out again. Leftwithout eating. Kids food looked horrible and they did not eat as well. Cold food, no nachos or salsa offered, not liketraditional Mexican whatsoever. Save your time and money. Read more

Leamington boasts the largest concentration of commercial greenhouses in all of North America (many of them hydroponic), and... the title of the Tomato Capital of Canada goes along with being amongst the country?s top producers of peppers, cucumbers, flowers, and more recently, cannabis.  This offers plenty of opportunities for seasonal workers to find jobs in the region; formigrant workers, mostly from Central America and Mexico, it is done through the government of Canada?s Temporary Foreign WorkerProgram.  In 2006, Leamington had the highest percentage of Latin Americans in Canada, with 4.9%, and according to the 2016Canada Census, there were 3,225 immigrants in Leamington from Mexico alone.  This has generated the need for services such asseveral restaurants and grocery stores, catered to the Hispanic population The ranchero vibe was alive and well at Leamington?sLa Hacienda. Enjoyed the enchilada, chihuahua style taco, carne asada, beans, & salad. Carne asada is grilled and sliced beef, usually chuck steak, though skirt steak or flank steak can also be used. It was marinated then grilled or seared. Read more

Love the place and the food we had ordered. Even though they don't understand English they tried their best to make us... understand about the food. Read more

This was by far the worst place we have ever eaten! If I could give ZERO starts I would. Please spare your time and money and do... not go here. I?m not one to complain, and I have NEVER posted a bad review before because I feel horrible for doing so, but thisplace was so bad, I feel like people need to be aware before they go. It started out with us asking for chips and salsa? we weregiven chips and two squeeze bottles of some sort of sauce (not salsa at all!). When I asked what was in these bottles, thewaitress just shrugged her shoulders! When I asked if they had a kids menu, she said yes and showed me the adult menu. (Therewasn?t a kids menu) The kids ordered tacos, 2 hard (which weren?t too bad) and two soft which were not great. I asked for a sideof rice and beans for them and was given French fries. My husband ordered two soft tacos and asked for them to be on flourtortilla and not corn tortillas? he got corn tortillas and they were not good at all! She did end up bringing him two tacos onflour tortillas but he said they were horrible and full of very fatty meat? he barely ate any of his. I ordered a pulled porkquesadilla with sour cream in the side and well as rice. I never got any rice, and the quesadilla It was soggy and disgusting. Icouldn?t even eat it?. And the sour cream was literally white liquid with a water consistency?. Definitely NOT sour cream. Never, ever again. Clearly the people who are posting all of these positive reviews must be family members and friends becauseit was so horrible and not at all worth the 50+ dollars it cost for the 4 of to ?eat? here. Hole in the wall gem. Very friendly service! It looks like a family is running the restaurant. Authentic Mexican food. Found the... burrito a little bland but after smothering it with the homemade hot sauce, it was great! Tacos were very good and I'm lookingforward to going back soon to have more! Read more
