I come her at least once a month for the Saturday Rib Special (also available Tuesday). It's all you can eat Por Ribs with two... sides. I love the mash potatoes and cream corn. I honestly have not had anything else besides the salad bar. The salad bar arereally cool, pure 90s nalstalgia. The bar is very clean and fresh. Went here with my family and spent a great time, having great BBQ. Ribs and brisket were the stars of the day. Lots of options... for side, fried okra being one of my favorites. Very nice people they really take good care and give accurate recommendationsfor the amount of people on our party, we got the family pack #3 and some extras. Definitively a place to come back. They alsohave a bucket of 6 beers for the price of 5 with nice variety of options. Read more

Lots of seating and you order at the counter. The menu is very extensive and if you can't find something you like, you are not... hungry! Very nice salad bar for a BBQ with lots of choices to add. Service was timely and you have unlimited drinks from thedrink machine. It had been a long time from seeing cream corn on the menu and it was very good. There were multiple side choicesfrom my green beans and creamed corn to sweet potato fries and onion rings. They certainly don't cheat you on the amount of foodeither!!???? This place is Texan-approved. Great meat selection consisting of your choice of moist or lean brisket, awesome smoked sausages,... ribs, and so much more. Their salad bar is yummy as well! ???? This place was WONDERFUL. Had the biggest baked potato I had ever seen and the best too! The brisket was finely chopped and... delicious, served in a hot mountain on a hot buttery potato! So much of it you could take it home but it's so good you wannafinish the whole thing! If you like baked potatoes and BBQ I would highly recommend this one. I ordered three gumbos. Two were completely busted in the bag. I called red river and manager Pedro stated i should call door... dash. I said I did but I think it?s a packaging problem. He said he would replace. I came up to pick it up and asked for morerice. I was told I had to pay. I did. I have now been waiting 20 minutes for three small containers of rice. I am not happyabout this. What should have been a nice dinner at home has become a waste of time and money. You need to do better red river. ???????????? Read more
EDIT EDIT for second visit after this review ...it was our first time here.. won't be our last.. even though I'm not much on... going to the counter to order.. the food was absolutely worth going to the counter to order some of the very best chickentenders and fried shrimp I've ever had.. the green beans were meaty and tasty! My husband loved the chicken and sausage and thepotatoe salad.. it's a place that I can't wait to go back to for those shrimp.. it'll be hard to order something different sinceit was that GOOD! atmosphere was great too! I had give this place 5 stars because they earned it... we liked it so much that wewent back today.. what a difference even though I ordered same thing. Took nearly 30 minutes to get our food.. green beans nothot. French fries not hot and limp when I asked for crispy. Shrimp over cooked and salty tasting. Ribs were tough!! Bakedbeans not hot. Asked where my roll was.. was told I was not supposed to get one.. well..I had one last time.. and showed mypicture with roll. He went and got me one. huge disappointment today after such a great visit last week. Last week.. it was thebest shrimp.. chicken tenders and green beans.. but.. not today. Read more
