Walls have a Bible verse so it?s got a nice Christian vibe. There?s usually a wait bc it?s the best breakfast place in around... this location. Good hash browns, link sausage, and eggs Benedict. Unfortunately, I find both the regular and pecan coffees abit sour. No raw cane sugar available. Food sometimes takes a while to come out. Friendly staff. Good place for families. Isee lots of toddlers and kids which is fun. Read more

The food was wonderful, it was a bit of a wait, but they were very crowded , and we did get seated fast. My husband had the... Hot Mess with jalapeno gravy , and side of cheddar jalapeno grits. I had bisquits and regular gravy with grits. Others hadcinnamon and pecan pancake , huge !! GO. Great food!! Read more

Red Oak is closed on Mondays. I hate Mondays. The best part of my day is breakfast at Red Oak Cafe in League City. The staff are... incredible, mention my name and they can tell you how much I like the tea, and try as I might, I have not been able to make orbuy a better breakfast. Read more

This cafe was bought out a while ago, and they're just as good as ever. It started as a family owned cafe with a loose christian... theme, well known for their sweet cream pancakes and motivational post it notes decorating the bathrooms. Since being boughtout, the menu had a couple items cut or replaced (I would specifically petition to add tall stacks of pancakes back to themenu), a few more tables were added, and the music changed from Christian music to more mainstream pop music. The tone of therestaurant has become a bit faster with more bustle, which is a slight shame considering it's previously relaxed and welcomingtone, but it's still got the best pancakes, like, ever, and an incredible pecan coffee. I respect the new managements decisionto remove some of the Christian elements to make the place more marketable, but as a Christian and a fan of the stores origin, Iam deeply appreciative that they left one reference in the store that connects their name to the Bible and to the late child thestore was run in memory of. 10/10, best cafe to visit for brunch if you're willing to spend a little extra. I recommendsplitting a big breakfast if you've got two people who like a variety and a small appetite, or just for one person if you've gota big appetite or like leftover pancakes- the pancakes make for amazing leftovers. Some people even prefer them cold the nextday. Other notable items in their menu include, surprisingly, the kitchen sink omelette- which was still on the menu last Ichecked, and is very hearty and might be more your speed if you prefer a savory breakfast. I don't believe I've ever tried theirlunch menu, so I have no comment on that in particular. All in all, amazing place to eat and I double recommend it for after theearly service at church. We decided to stop by at the red oak cafe, for the first time. We had a ham and Swiss cheese Panini with broccoli bacon salad... and a side of avocado. And my wife had the sampler platter. Which came with a tuna sandwich a cheese pimento sandwich and achicken sandwich with a small salad. It was very good. Good service. Read more
