Food was delivered almost 2 hours after the website quoted 30-45 minutes. Food came via Uber eats and was not only cold but... incorrect as well. Spoke to the store at 7:15pm and Manager assured us our food we would be remade and delivered hot....foodnever showed and we called back 2 hours later to cancel the order only to find out their computers were down....we couldn't evenget a refund.....food that was originally ordered at 5:50PM for dinner finally showed up at 10:15pm...called back 2 days laterto inquire about a refund and was put on hold for 22 minutes as the manager laid the phone down with the line still open.....Ilistened to her handle all business but mine for nearly a half hour before hanging up and calling back only to have the Managertake our info and tell me that she would look into it an call us back....guess what.....No call back .....looks like a trip tothe store for my $32 refund is in order for tomorrow...TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY AROUND! Pizza Hut used to be my favorite place to go to get pizza. But I've noticed through the years that that great taste that I used... to love has been slowly disappearing. Last night I ordered a large cheese pizza with no extra toppings on the Pizza Hut app onmy phone. I wanted it delivered to my home, but when I attempted to check out on the app, I got a message that I would eitherhave to go pick up the pizza myself or add something else to my order. Since when can't you just order a large pizza to bedelivered to your home? So I had to add something else to my order that I didn't really want, just so I could get a pizza. SoI added an order of the mini cinnamon rolls. The order came exactly when I was told it would, so that was not a problem. WhenI opened the pizza box, the pizza looked like what I expected so the presentation was good. But when I took the first bite, allI tasted was dough and cheese. I could not detect any marinara sauce on it at all. So I took another bite, and again, I couldnot taste any sauce. I took a close look at the slice of pizza, and I could see just a faint color of sauce--it was practicallynonexistent. No wonder I could not taste any marinara sauce! I was not at all happy, because Pizza Hut has been around longenough to know that the taste of the sauce is what makes a cheese pizza great! I used to take my then small children to a PizzaHut outside of Wichita, KS, in the late 1970's--early 1980's. We used to order cheese pizzas mostly, with an occasional Supremefor something different. Those pizzas were delicious! But the pizza I had last night from this particular Pizza Hut in LeagueCity, TX, tasted nowhere near those pizzas I remember. Also, I worked in a Pizza Hut for a few months when I was living inKansas in the mid-1980's. I was taught to put enough sauce on the pizza so it could be tasted. My large pepperoni pizza and order of bread sticks and a 2 litre Pepsi were delivered to my apartment yesterday it was a total... of 33.54 dollars. The pizza was covered over with grease and the bread sticks were completely cold.I tipped the delivery person6 dollars and also got charged a 5dollar delivery fee from the store. The pizza was not even edible.I wonder why send thisgarbage to me. You people got me to this time never again!! Our food was just fine. We provided a tip for delivery curb side, however there were no parking spots identified for curbside... pickup. I provided notification of my arrival using the email sent to me but received no indication my order would beforthcoming. After waiting several minutes, I went inside and picked up my order. I want to give a big shout out and a big thank you to this Pizza Hut location on South Shore in League City!! If I could give... you 100 stars, I would. They came through for me and the company I work for without hesitation. They stepped up when we were inneed. I called them right before they were going to close needing 50 pizzas right away and they did it with no hesitation. Thankyou so much for accommodating us.
