Lunas South Shore, League City really disappointed me tonight. I was there with a good friend having nachos like we always do... and enjoying myself until..... I ordered the kids fajita chicken quesadillas for my kid to go. I asked if chips and salsa camewith it which they normally do and IVAN told me no. Hmm, I was actually stunned that for the first time in 7 years of cominghere the chips and salsa weren't included. I asked for some and he chose to charge me $4.50 for a pint of red salsa and $4.95for a pint of the nasty green sauce. First of all, why would I need a whole pint of sauces for a small kids meal? Also, a drinkis supposed to come with it that I never received. When I saw the charges, I immediately told IVAN he was ripping me off and Iwasn't going to pay that and he needed to take it off. I was furious! My bill with those charges was $21.91 FOR A KIDS MEAL!!!Once the charges were taken off and he brought the to go order there weren't any chips in there. If IVAN had any sort of guestservice courtesy or knowledge at all, he should have told me he could bag up the remaining chips we had in front of us leftover and brought a small to go cup for the full dish of red salsa that was left. I had to ask the busser for it. IVAN couldhave received at least a $10 tip from me, but since he tried to rip me off he got $2 for that bill. It was only an $11 bill. Ialso gave him another $5 tip for my portion of the nachos bill. He didn't deserve it in my opinion, but I just can't stiff arestaurant person. I know the industry inside and out and know it's a tough gig.. I don't know about anyone else, but I ampersonally so sick of horrible service in this area. I suppose it has to do with a huge lack of guest service training. ???? HeyIVAN, maybe if you actually smile and have any sort of a personality you would make better tips! First time ever coming here ????Just picked up my take out order it was wrong after I left and had to come all the way back I... called the restaurant and specifically told them what I wanted brought it back than he proceeded to say it is supposed to bewith corn tortillas and I said so are you telling me that you can?t make them with flour tortillas and he said yeah I guess wewill have to throw these away ???? The food came out fast which is great but the service needs to speed up. Not sure if it?s lack of waiters or just lack of... urgency. I?ve been here a couple of times for lunch or drinks. Usually really good. Today the Margaritas tasted like watereddown Rubbing Alcohol. The tacos were okay, the Cheese Enchilada lunch plate was bland. Service was not very attentive. The food it?s not half as good as it used to be. The only reason I gave two stars is our server Marcus B was awesome! Will be a... while before we go back if we go back. First time to this location. Very good fajitas. We asked for a spicier salsa, and we received. The Boss margarita was a little... too much for me. Got the rita sabor (strawberry) on the rocks. And it was just right. And they have a self serve vanilla icecream for dessert. I think we'll be back ???????? Read more
