We stopped in in between football games for a rest and some lunch. The food was delicious and all of the staff were friendly and... fun! They played trivia with our kids and we had a great time. We will be back, for sure! Read more

First off let me just say that this restaurant is pretty much the only thing to eat while out here in BFE, so my expectations... weren't set very high but this place is actually pretty good! The staff is always friendly, food is pretty darn good (probablythe best BLT I've had in a restaurant). There are some things that I would change though-the water is well water and tastes assuch, maybe needs a filtration system, the mashed potatoes bring me back to junior/high school and sometimes the sandwich meatseems low end. The broasted chicken, which I had people say was amazing, on the day I had it ---the skin was amazing however,the chicken itself almost had a dish soap taste to it. Very friendly service, great food, home style atmosphere and the woman that makes the pies; she's the goddess of pie! I swear I... haven't had such a delicious AND truly homemade from scratch pie since I was a kid. Simply perfection. I'm at a loss for howdecedent the pies are. My husband and I got 2 pies tonight (cherry and dutch apple) for the first time. WELL worth the cost.This woman deserves an award and her husband for helping her during preparation. YUM! Read more
This was a pretty nice place. The store was very clean inside and outside including the bathroom. It was handicapped accessible... which is nice because I am disabled. The food was hot and fresh and pretty good, the fish just needs some seasoning. The staffwas very helpful and friendly. The whole town recommended this restaurant and I can see why. It was very good. Good stick to your ribs cooking. I would travel out of my way for this kinda cooking.
