What a fantastic location! We went down there during a road trip through Illinois and could not have had a better experience!... From the moment we stepped inside, the staff were fully attentive and made us feel completely at home. Denise and Enriquetreated us like we were one of the family! The food was better than expected! The burgers were char grilled and buns were toasted. Onion rings were delicious.

Pros - convenient location to kayak, stand up paddle or fish - about 30 minutes from Bloomington. Easy online reservation... process and check in. Beautiful smaller, peaceful lake with coves to explore. Improvements - Boards and kayaks were a bit olderand showed some definite wear and tear. Definitely glad we knew how to SUP previously - it was pretty much self service aftercheck in. Read more
