I had one of the best ribeye steak I ever tasted. Cooked to perfection and I was not alone. There were seven of us and we had... different dishes and all were happy with the meals. Appetizer sampler was a great start to a wonderful meal. Friendly staffand clean facility. Off the beaten path, but definitely worth the effort to find. Forgot to take photos and wish I had nowgluten free options available Read more
My family has been coming here for years and it never disappoints. We went there tonight and had another excellent meal. The... tenderloin and shrimp is our favorite. It was cooked to perfection and so tender. All of their salad dressings are so good andI love the relish tray as well. Our server was on point and prompt with refills or anything else we needed. Make sure you goto their web site and put your name in ahead of time or be standing outside in line right at 4:30 when they open. When we lefttonight at 5 or so, a customer who was unaware of the web site came in as we were leaving. There was already a 1 1/2 hour waiteven though it was early. Plan ahead and you will have no problem. Read more

Having heard a lot about Archie's in my last ten years of living in the area, I admittedly had pretty high expectations. I... finally made it there to try for myself. Getting in the door is harder than it should be for someone. Not a fan of the onlinewait-list being the only option. I think it's an okay option, but when you can't call ahead and make a reservation at all, Ithink that's a little bit of a poor method. The group of eight I was with had to attempt a couple times before we actually got atable. I would have thought a restaurant would really want to make it easy for people to get a table as that's how they maketheir money. Once we were there, we had to wait until every member of our group was there or else they wouldn't seat us.Basically, I think it's an okay option for a couple, but groups would do better going elsewhere. Coordinating a visit toArchie's as a group is a huge pain. The food was pretty good. Again, I'd heard great things about this for 10 years at thispoint, so my expectations were pretty high. I didn't feel that it lived up to the hype. The appetizers we got were a coupleplates of fried vegetables, cheese balls, and onion rings. They were good. The salad was what came next. It's a pretty standardsalad. Nothing much to note really. The plate of extra veggies and cheese cubes were nice to top it how you wanted. The cheeseseemed to be just cubed velveeta. I would have expected some nice real cheese with it. Cubed cheddar or gouda or something. Thethousand island I had was good. The Russian dressing they served was had by a couple people in our party. They all liked it andit was a different option than what you may typically see. I ordered the Archie's Special - Extra Thick steak for my entreealong with a baked potato. The steak came out Luke warm or even a tad cool. Part of that could be on me for ordering an extrathick steak rare, but it should at least be warm. I think their kitchen could have done better that evening coordinat Read more
