Food/Taste/Flavor: 2/5 - the taste is more East Asian than Indian. The Lamb Curry was okay but the protein had no flavor and was... really dry. It seems like the curry was made and they just throw in the protein you ask for. The Chicken Tikka Masala was reallywatery and similar experience with the protein where it doesn't have much flavor and was extremely dry as well. The naan had nospice or flavor to it. Stopped in for dinner while i was in the area, got the butter lamb with garlic naan. Absolutely incredible and the little old... woman working the register was delightful. 10/10, will def be back. Read more
We LOVE this place. I've been going here since high school. This place has THE BEST butter chicken in the state. I've been to... many Indian restaurants in the valley, and none can top Taste of India. Their Naan is always cooked to perfection and the staffis always friendly! Great restaurant would recommend giving it a try. We went in right before it started getting busy; we got our waters right away,... orders taken quickly, and our food came within fifteen minutes of ordering. Any flavor of their naan is very good and a definiteorder if you go. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and it had great flavor and texture. The rice that it came with was solid aswell. The venue is a lot nicer than expected and both the hostess and our server were very kind and helpful. Not overly priceyfor what you are getting. Would recommend. Read more
We come for the Tandoori. It is the best Tandoori l. We haven't found a place in SLC that makes it as good as here. It's a great... size, sizzling and the chicken is on the bone so it's not dry. The Naan is hand made and flavorful, always made fresh. I loveChicken Tikka Masala, it's full of flavor and lots of Chicken breast pieces. Their rice is also fresh. The food was decent, I would not drive out of my way for it. I ordered veg samosa delicious and the chicken samosa(not good at... all, very dry and no flavor). I also had the garlic and aloo parantha Naan bread, both really good. I am use to samosas havinga flaky crust, these did not have that and I was a little disappointed because there was something different about the crust,that through it off. Read more
