Overall it was better than expected. After reading the reviews we were worried the food would take a while but it came out... pretty quick. There weren't too many customers when we were there. Overall staff was friendly. Food was kind of average (beanswere fairly bland, fried fish was more blonde than golden, and fajitas could have used a bit more char to enhance the flavor). Our son loved the kids quesadilla and fries. I think we'll try them again and we will update the review if the food impoves. Onthe positive side, it was very clean and it wasn't crowded which we appreciated. We love to support small businesses and hopethe review helps them continue to grow. Read more

We went into the restaurant not knowing what to expect, as they were newly opened. What we found was delicious food, great ... prices, excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere, including live musical entertainment on certain days and a full bar. (They make a crazy, delicious Horchata Margarita) We are considered "regulars" by the staff now, and we love dining atBlanquitas. If you go there and give it a try, tell Sierra, the manager, that are there because you saw this review. She'samazing to her patrons. Read more
Food was not great, service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was almost empty, and they would not honor the wasatch... savings, claiming they had no idea what it was and they didn't sign up for it. We waited 20 minutes while out waitress checkedwith multiple people, all who said they wouldn't honor it. We ordered anyway but then were disappointed with the food ingeneral. I contacted wasatch savings which is a coupon book I paid $30 for and they said every business voluntarily signed upand has had adequate training so there is no excuse as to why they claimed they had never heard of it. It seems they want theadvertising the wasatch book brings without honoring their end of the agreement. I don't like giving bad reviews because reviewsare everything to a business' success these days but this was such blatant dishonesty a bad review was warranted in this case. Read more

The place was not busy, there were only two other customers but the service was exceptionally slow. When the margaritas... eventually did come they tasted like they were made with salt water, nearly undrinkable. The server didn't bring out more salsafor most of the meal and never did refill our water. She also declined to bring the tortillas that came with the meal. Thefajitas had hotdogs in it. Hotdogs. A HIDDEN GEM!!! I had Ajillo Shrimp (garlic). They were a pile of nice plump shrimp cooked in Mexican sauce to... perfection. See photo of the plate. The rice and refritos are made from scratch dail and were very good. My waitress was Tataynawho was attentive but not obnoxious. The bar is not yet open. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! When the bar opens I hope the Margurita isgood. Read more
