Drove an hour away to get Popeyes since this is the only halal one in NJ and wanted to see the hype. While making my order, I... added the offer with the spicy chicken sandwich and since the location was far, I made the purchase and left so I wouldn?t delaymy lunch break. Once I got there, I was given one sandwich and saw on my receipt that only one sandwich went through. I appliedthe offer and made sure I saw it prior to me adding my payment info. I provided the offer and the number for the cashier, butshe refused to take it. My order was well over $10 and unfortunately this was the only halal location. I ended up orderinganother sandwich since it was for my wife and went back home. I checked my bag and as part of the chicken meal, there weresuppose to be biscuits. Checked all the boxes and there were no biscuits. Not only is there only 1 halal location that?s an houraway, and there was bad service/technology invested behind the application, but my order wasn?t even fulfilled. This is just avery disappointing first time experience. EDIT: Popeyes corporate reached out and gave me a refund plus $5 on my next purchase.Was pleased to know they took care of me right away. All menu items are halal except mesh potatoes, confirmed by on duty staff. The bad part is I order online and pickup in store.... When I open at iftar time my order was missing some of the items. They should make sure all items are packed before handover tothe customer. Read more

I have been to this location multiple times and tonight was the worst experience me and my family have ever had. The staff didnt... seem to know what they were doing, or how to handle a rush. The wait to get the food was horrendous, and didnt really speed upeven after a manager came out. The butterfly shrimp was crazy spicy, and didnt receive sauce for the shrimp, or the sauce forthe tenders. The sweet tea also tasted like it had been sitting out for quite a while. At least you actually had the chicken sandwich, hence the extra star. But....40 minute wait. One tiny little pickle chip. No... thermal bag for the sandwich. Chicken did not look nearly as good as so many other sandwiches I've seen on social media.Breading was flaking off and falling apart. Not happy.
