The place is listed as 24 hours, which is typical for Waffle House. Ended up at the hotel across the way for the night on a work... trip, tried to go get food around midnight. the door was locked but all lights were on and dishes on the tables. Staff nowhereto be seen. Read more
Customer service is terrible. You walk in and employees do not greet you. Nor do they greet you once they come to your table to... take your order. When my mother and I would say thank you he just says mmhmm LOL. It?s really sad though honestly. Especiallywhen you make a living off of your tips. When it was time to check out I paid with my card but I left the cash tip on the tableprior to paying because another server was checking me until he walked over to assist her at the register. However, once ourmale server sees that I input ?no tip? when checking out. He immediately walks away in rage (like a child who can?t get theirway) and did not even say thanks or have a good day. The entire time his tip was on the table. I thought about taking the cashtip back from off of the table since he DID not deserve it but I left it alone. He needs it but he?ll always be miserable withthat attitude he has . I?ve worked in the service industry years ago. And I just don?t understand how someone who relies ontips to make a living can have such a nasty attitude and provide terrible service. Not to mention the store was empty. Typical waffle house environment. Food was quick and well prepared. Great meal! Gotten rather expensive. Used to be the most... affordable prices n portions. Over the last few years they have almost doubled the prices. :-( Now cost just as much as a mealat Applebee's or Ruby Tuesdays. But, what can ya do about that? Read more
