I just sat here for 30 minutes. Fully- staffed but, no one bothered to even say, 'I'll be with you in a minute." I am leaving.... (BTW, they didn't even look at me when I left. Seems to me that a business owner would not want to lose business in such astupid way. But, obviously the owners do not care about their bottom line... maybe it's time to let someone take over thisrestaurant that cares about their investment, because this owner, obviously, doesn't...) Waitress was friendly and diligent. As most waffle houses, cleanliness is NOT an A+. Also, this one doesn't seem as busy as the... rest which was nice. Good for a quick and predictable meal. Read more
I love this Waffle House. I was thinking about going to Wendy's but their customer service is horrible so I visited this... location instead. The manager Rob was awesome. He made sure the restaurant was clean and the food was awesome. The server, Josh,was also great. If you're ever near Grayson Hwy, this restaurant is the best in the area. Great customer service thank you !!! The food is good. The only thing is that the cooking personnel not focused talking each... other personal staff at lunch time. Also I just want to make a comment about that the air conditioner it is a little bit toocold . Some customer (Not) mask. This is just a humble opinion; we need to get more respect for each other. Been to this Waffle House a thousand times but last night was probably the worst. First it was so hot in there . That?s because... the server had the air turned off. Second the server couldn?t keep his hands out of his pants. Keep walking around and even cameto your table with his hands tucked behind his apron. I have been working in the restaurant business for over 20 years andsomething like use to get you fired. It?s just gross . Food order was taken and the food was brought to us fast. But I never gota drink refill or condiments brought to the table . He even served us with Togo forks . Never seen that at Waffle House . Itwas just a big turn off last night . I love the food and service at this location. It's clean. Amanda is the BEST. She always make sure that my order is executed... PERFECTLY! She is very attentive and polite. She is part of the reason I travel out of my way to eat at this location ????. Read more
Saw an article in the newspaper and I?m honestly surprised this location is still open. It failed its recent health inspection... badly. The last time I went, the tables and floor were sticky. The waitress just washed the table with a dirty, wet rag. And theplace had a certain smell to it. Also, my friend saw dead cockroaches near the bathroom. And with this report in the newspaper,I?m surprised no one got sick that we know of. Read more
Went in just to get a bite to eat. Waitress was untrained. Half of the store was roped off. Only 3 customers (including myself)... in the store, and it took 10 minutes to get a cup of coffee. It took another 20 minutes to get my food. (Which I orderedstraight off the menu, nothing wierd, or special to it) My order was still incorrect.... how hard is it to get it right! I wassimply pointing at the menu to the item I wanted, and said "just like the one in the picture". Anyway, the place has a bad vibenow... It used to be a good place to eat. Unfortunately, I will not be returning there again. The entire Waffle House chainseems to be headed downhill. What a shame. Read more
