This has become our weekly go-to for lunch. It?s basic but *so* delicious. I especially love the house burger, onion rings,... coleslaw, VB sauce, and concretes. The wait for getting food after ordering can sometimes be a little slow, and I wish they sentthe food out as it was ready instead of waiting to send it out all together, but the service otherwise is always great. Have heard good things about this burger joint off the square in Lawrenceville and finally decided to try it on a Saturday at... peak dinner time. It was busy but the line moved fast and the staff was happy and patient answering questions. Ordered theVillage Burger with cheese and onion rings. After a short wait, the cooked to order food arrived at the table. Burger wasawesome. The rings were perfectly cooked but the batter used had a little more pepper than I prefer but it didn?t stop me fromenjoying. The one thing I really appreciated was plenty of napkins because the burger was juicy and the self serve ketchupinstead of those little annoying packets. Loves the food & the prices! Our order came out to 26$! I ordered the southwest salad with a side of onion rings and he ordered... the village burger with a side salad & it was DELICIOUS! I used to eat at village burger when I worked near perimeter mall. I was so glad they opened one in Lawrenceville. I stepped by... today, and was not disappointed, even though I forgot what the menu was like. I ordered the village burger, and it came with twoparties, I had to remove one, as I was trying not to have too many calories. It was just as I remembered, very good taste. Affordable good/decent burgers. Gluten-free buns are available (allergy & preference). Their fries need some work (see full... context below). OVERALL RATING: 3.5 out of 5 _________ Their fries make me want to throw a rage tantrum like a 3-year-old. Onseveral occasions, I have ordered seasoned fries and found myself asking if they mistakenly gave me unseasoned fries. The costof a large fry is just over $5. That would seem to be a sizable portion and enough for two, as the website depicts it as"shared". Please see the attached photo, it's a hefty handful at best. (Pictured below, 1 cup measuring cup & what I believe isa large fry) During my most recent visit, I remembered my past experiences with unseasoned fries and portion sizes. I ordered anormal fry (unseasoned) and a large fry (seasoned) to compare portions and flavors. When I got home, I only found one order.From previous experiences, I could assume I only received the large "seasoned" since it was under portioned and lacking inseasoning.
