Had dinner there Wednesday last week the service was on point from the minute walking in two employees greeted us the waitress... made great suggestion on appetizers. We ordered the fried plantains with shrimp tooping I had catch of the day fish with riceand salad. My brother and his wife ordered Cuban sandwiches and they were big and tasty. Read more

Food was great! I really like the crab cake appetizers. All the food was brought out hot. Everything was seasoned wonderfully.

How it started...how it ended. I want to like this place SOOOOOO bad. The service is GREAT! I have never had more flavorless... chicken in my life. The chicken Cuban sandwich READ deliciously from the menu...and as tender as the chicken isprepared...????????. Not seasoned at all. To be fair, my server asked me could he have it remade or if I'd prefer another dish.I just don't have the time...and I'm a bit deflated. So I will visit again to give it another try. Read more

We have been visiting Papi's for over 7 years. Papi's was always the place to go for outstanding, seasoned right, cooked right... everything on point Cuban food. Over the past 3 years, we have noticed a change in the seasonings, staff, over allatmosphere. Now, the meats taste bland, the amount of food has decreased, I seem to always get cold, greasy fries when I orderthe Cuban sandwich which is good, not great like before, but good. The empanandas always are good. Salad dressing always tastewatered down, like they are trying to stretch the dressing out. Maybe we always come when they are running out. Not sure. I hopethey bring back the true flavors ???? of Cuban back to thier food! Believe me, I'm aware they have to try to please the massesof people, but you know if you come into certain restaurants, your there for the experience for your taste bud's to take atrip, and enjoy the feast of culture. We celebrated my daughter's birthday here at the Lawrenceville location last week. The food was amazing. We had the Cuban... sampler, the Arroz Con Pollo, and a vegetarian sandwich for me. For us vegetarians, my dish was delicious. I wouldn't change athing! You have a choice of outside dining or inside. We chose outside on the patio, although it's a busy street, you areshielded with beautiful plants and flowers. The environment is satisfying, just like the food. We had a wonderful waitress namedJessica R., so if you decide to eat there, you can ask for her. She is very attentive and cheerful. The Hostess and rest of thestaff were absolutely great!
