The food here is just ok. I got a shrimp po' boy, fried catfish and regular fries (not sweet potato). The seasoning on the... seafood was pretty good. However, the po' boy was sloppy and had the thickest slices of tomato I've ever seen on a sandwich. Itried to pick it up and it fell apart immediately. So I ended up eating it with a knife and fork. The fries had a strangesweetness to them which was unappealing so they went in the trash. The service is lacking. There were two young ladies at thefront when I arrived. One was on the phone with a customer and the other (curly hair) clearly didn't want to be there. When Iwalked up to the window she yelled above the blasting music "what's your order?". Not hello or how can I help you. I told her Icalled in my order and she went back to check on it. When she returned and informed me it wasn't ready yet, I asked if she knewhow much longer and she gave me a look as if to say "how should I know", finally said "I don't know" and went back to playing onher cellphone. I thought the food was good and fresh but when the lady took our orders was two of us. My order came long after my friend's... order. She was done eating and I just got my food. The same thing. I didn't get a picture of the food. Literally the best lemon pepper catfish nuggets I have ever had! The hush puppies, good... Lawd, sweet with actual corn in them. I am a Floridian living in Atlanta and we are no where near water so I am VERY picky about eating seafood. But this place must... have picked their supplier carefully because the fried tilapia and shrimp is SO good. You have options to choose their originalbatter or cajun. I always go for the cajun. The shrimp is pretty good too. I always get the cake funnel fries! Please try those! This place is popular! You will not waste your time. At times there are some employees that will not be as enthusiastic whenyou go pick up your food but for the ones who are nice they really make you feel glad that you spent your money at place thatnot only has incredible food but great customer service.
