This was a fail this restaurant is not doing well so they charge the customer a $5.75 service charge to sit there and eat. So on... top of the service that is part of your meal receipt the tip is separate from the meal. The service was bad and this place is atotal fail don?t go unless you want to waste your money. The sushi all had to much sauce that all you tasted was that and notthe sushi truly disappointed because it was not a cheap meal. The total bill including the tip along with service fee was over$56 and we got a tempera udon and only 2 sushi rolls. The sushi was really good and fresh. The service could have been much better.. there were only two tables with guests in the... restaurant and our food took some time. I didn't expect to wait 15-20 minutes for soup. The waitress kept clearing our tablewhile we were sitting there, which was annoying. After seeing their rating, I'm positive whoever made my sushi just didn't care because it was a door dash order or an hour from... closing. Either way, it's a complete joke for the end piece of every roll to have nothing but rice/seaweed and a piece ofcucumber. And the completed ones were so mediocre. Honestly, it's very okay. Average is like $11-14 per roll, but they charge a 15% service fee (not gratuity) for dine-in, which I... was caught off guard. I had 2 special rolls and a scallop sashimi; set me back $42 after tip. I was in shock. But I want tosupport them, so I did not complain. (Picture is from old review) Edit, 2021 Review: A few months ago, Momo reopened under new management. While they were nice and... service was good, I cannot in good conscience recommend the food. Personally, I did not find it that tasty, nor did my partner.It's also significantly more pricey than before the change in ownership. We will not be eating here any longer, and its such ashame. Old Review: I'm so glad I gave this place a try! The service is wonderful and the food is delicious! I've come heretwice now and the each time has been a great experience! Beyond AMAZING!!!! Best new restaurant in town. Food = 10+ Service =10+. A MUST try if you?re anywhere near Lawrenceville... Ga. We were greeted with such a welcoming ambiance and actual genuine grace that I knew we had made a good choice to try Momoout. The owners and staff make you feel like you?re family coming into their home. I?ve never been so blown away from the firstbite anywhere before. I got the spicy chicken with friend rice, steamed broccoli along with sweet carrots. Chicken wasn?t overlyspicy, with just enough zing that my taste buds were dancing for joy, awaiting the next bite. I?m picky about my broccoli, mostplaces over cook/steam it. The chef cooked it perfectly, & I enjoyed every piece. The carrots were sweet and delicious and therice was so flavorful. The Yum Yum sauce is exactly that.... it?s epic goodness. The young man who waited on us was veryfriendly & attentive.
