This was a pleasantly surprisingly good place to eat my favorite comfort foods. The first bites of collard greens and mac and... cheese immediately took me back to Sunday dinners after church service when the older women of the church prepared the best soulfood. I was looking for some good soul food and the reviews seemed good but I am disappointed. The customer service was goood (greeted... as soon as I walked in)! The restaurant smelled good and was clean. Now on to the food! It was very small portions, the chickenwas over cooked and burned, the food presentation was terrible, the fish sandwich was two small pieces of fish and a few fries!The food was barely seasoned! I tried this place for the first time and I wasn't disappointed. The owners are so nice and welcoming. You can tell they really... care about their business and making their customers happy. The dining area was nice and cozy. They had a little stage wherelive music is played but it wasn't being used when I was there. I ordered some fried chicken, tilapia, collards, mac and cheese,corn on the cob, and cornbread. It was all very good and tasty. The prices weren't outrageous compared to other soul foodrestaurants that I've been to. The only small downside for me was that the mac and cheese was quite small. Stopped by Moe's SoulFood for lunch. I had read a few reviews and decided to give them a try. This is probably the best Soul... Food I've eaten in the Lawrenceville area. I order the 3 whole wings meal, w/ mac and cheese & Collard greens. The fried chickenwas perfectly fried/juicy and not overly seasoned. The mac and cheese was amazing, just the way "momma" makes it. The collardgreens cooked w/ turkey was truly delicious. I normally add a little vinegar and hot sauce to my greens but this did not requireany of that. They were delicious straight-up and the cornbread topped it all off. I would definitely recommend this place. Read more
Decided to give this place a try based off some of the reviews and I am so glad I did!! We tried the meatloaf, fried catfish,... Mac n cheese, potato salad, fries, and pineapple upside down cake. Everything was delicious. The potato salad is probably someof the best I've ever had, and I was pleased with the Mac n cheese (which is hard for some restaurants to get right). The fishwas perfectly cooked and tasty, and the pineapple upside down cake was a delicious treat at the end. The only critique I wouldhave I that the meatloaf was lacking a little in flavor, but was perfectly moist. Give them a try! Read more

Smothered Pork Chops , bake Chicken and Fried Chicken Wing, tender pulled off the bone very flavorful. Real collard Green andPeas , Mac and Cheese, deserts and corn bread a drink You get 3 choices of bread. I was smacking and singing. I don’t eat theskin on nobody’s chicken l ate the skin????I wanted someone else cooking and I made a great decision delicious. Mostdefinitely this is my go to for my friends and family ???????? First time trying this place, I ordered catering for my Halloween party (about 8 people). Everyone loved it! Ordered fried... catfish, fried chicken, cabbage and the macaroni and cheese. Guests kept saying , “did you make this?! It’s really good!”Asking, “Where did you get the food from again? It’s really good!” My favorite was the catfish, Mac and cheese and thecabbage.
