I had doubts about the food in this restaurant/bar... Tavern typical bar food nachos, hot dogs, cheese stick and wings with... lots of people drinking beers. As I arrived the location which is set surrounded by apartment buildings and other businessesseems serene which gives off that small town feel. I happen to be invited to one of their brunch events. So much food andchoices, it was hard. But I reach for pancake first, then salmon it was seasoned well. The bake salmon did not taste salty withthe freshly made salad.The chicken fingers were tender and juicy dip in sauce., pecan cheese cake to delicious, shrimp and gritslook good and seems to be the favorite amongst the crowd. I was overwhelmed, my tastebud was on overload. Not to mention theservice servers was prompt. Overall lesson learn "don't judge a book by its cover", LOL, Sorry, I would most definitely returnedto favorite hangout spot a real classic sport bar that knows when to bring the right mix of food so everyone can enjoy. We go here yearly for St Paddy’s day events, but this was our first time doing brunch on the rooftop. All staff was extremely... friendly. The drinks were good & strong. The food was good, but the biscuit and gravy were smaller than expected and dry. Thebiscuit could’ve been cut open but overall decent. The croissant on the breakfast sandwich was huge~very good. They are arelatively large restaurant with lots of seating indoors, and they have a new section on the sidewalk outside that’s coveredwith umbrellas if you don’t want to wait to sit on the rooftop. Good food, great drinks, very friendly staff and service. Great whisky, bourbon and scotch selection. Would loved to have given... 5 stars but there's no menu or list available for the at least 50 whiskys available. Makes it very difficult to make a selectionwithout moving up and down the bar. The waitress didn't know what was available either. Definitely recommend. Read more
McCrays is marvelous! We walked right in on a Friday night with no wait. That was amazing for 5 people. We loved everything that... we ordered. You MUST get the pretzel! It was warm, soft, and splendid. Read more
