I walked in and there was only one other customer present. It took minutes for me to be acknowledged. Two females in the kitchen... who had seen me and been standing there talking the entire time finally acknowledged me. One said are you placing an order withan attitude and I said yes. They continued to talk and then got the cashier. The cashier was nice. Worse broccoli cheddar soupI?ve ever gotten from a McAlister. You can tell they scraped all the thick, clumpy, over cooked soup that sticks to the side ofan empty pan and dumped it in a cup. It was as thick as oatmeal. The bread on the sandwich was hard as a rock and throwntogether so sloppy (I cut the sandwich in half and realized how hard it was) with no pickle. The cashier specially asked me if Iwanted a pickle. I will not visit this location again. This location does not have the same type of staff or tasty meals likethe ones at the locations in Alpharetta and even Midtown smh. Read more

The food was just like every other McAlister's. In my last visit here it took over 40 minutes to get sandwiches. Only 1 of 3... people were making food and that was after they stopped taking new orders and announcing that all orders were going to be to gobecause they were closing the dining area because they were short staffed. I placed an online order to be picked up at 1215pm, get to the restaurant and there is a sign on the door that says they are... closed until 2. I pull on the door and there were workers in there but they acted like they didn?t even see me. I then began tocall the restaurant phones and no one answered and there was no voicemail set up. This is very inconvenient and unprofessional. And I have not received a refund for what I paid for. There?s always an issue when I visit this location. The last time I cameand purchased a baked potato, I was told by the cashier that they didn?t have any silverware. So I asked her how was I supposedto eat my big potato on my lunch break with no silverware. I asked her could I just have some of the real silverware to takewith me since it wasn?t my fault but she said no. This location either needs to be closed down Until they find bettermanagement. I ordered online, and it was supposed to be ready when I got there. Instead I had to wait another 20 minutes. I was rushing... because I had a meeting. After waiting so long and finally getting my order, I quickly felt around in the bag to make sureeverything was there. My mistake - i should've sat there and actually opened up all the containers to double check. My cookiebrownie was missing which i had paid for. instead of Potato salad, they gave me some soggy tomato salad? I was at least excitedto eat my soup..... But i was shocked when i opened the container (see pic). There was only like 1 scoop of soup in there. Iwasn't sure if it was someone's leftovers that must have accidentally got tossed in my bag. Nonetheless I was scared to eat itin case it was supposed to be trash. The tortilla chips that come with the soup was also missing. If you are planning onordering there for lunch, reconsider... Only order if you have 2 hours of time to waste and just make sure you double check yourfood before you leave Read more

Staffing, staffing, staffing. This used to be my favorite spot and they are falling apart. Only one or two ppl working the front... in the crew in the back putting together the worlds slowest super sandwiches. I ordered online. Drove 15 minutes to the store. Then waited another 35 minutes from my club sandwich & brownie. While I was there no less than five people walked out becausethe lines were taking so long. And then this is the sandwich I got. They really need to fix this. Read more

McAlister?s has always been one of my favorite places for sandwiches, soups and salads. Sadly this location (Lawrenceville) is... struggling to provide even a low level of service. On a visit last week, I ordered a bowl of chicken tortilla soup. My husbandordered the Savannah salad with balsamic vinaigrette. After approximately 20 minutes, our ordered arrived, I had a cup that washalf full of soup (approximately 1/2 cup in volume) and when I asked why I didn?t get a bowl, the runner indicated they were?out of the chicken tortilla soup?. I asked if I could get tortilla chips to go with the 1/2 cup, he responded they were out oftortilla chips. Hmmmm, they made no offer to substitute anything else. My husband?s salad had the wrong dressing, so he askedfor the balsamic dressing. The runner went back to the kitchen and returned saying, ?the cook doesn?t know what balsamicdressing is so we don?t have any?. We were also charged 5.49 for a kids meal that was posted above the menu as $3.99. Otherpatrons were waiting a long time for their food and the restaurant was not busy. The final straw was the next day, I received asurvey from McAlister?s so I completed it and responded to their offer to contact me about my experience. It?s been a week andno contact has been made. Sadly I will never visit this restaurant again. There is no excuse for the poor service and lack oftraining or caring about the job much less the customer. Read more

They have gotten my order wrong 2 out of 2 times I've been here and there are no more chances. I don't want a remake. I ordered... a king club on sliced wheat with extra honey mustard and a pickle. I was given a king club on white bread with barely any honeymustard and no pickle. Also, my sandwich didn't have any cheese on it and it is supposed to come with two types of cheese. What's going on here? Also, why are you offering curbside through the app when you are short staffed and make the customers comeinside? You need to take it up with corporate if you can't offer the services advertised in the app. There should be designatedcurbside spots as well. I'm a lifelong McAlisters customer across state lines and I've had nothing but subpar service here. I'llstick to Jason's, thanks! Read more
