I have never tried Jamaican food before. This food was the absolute best food I?ve had all year long. I was sleeping on Jamaican... cuisine. The food was very well seasoned. THE PRICES ON THE BOARD, DON'T MATCH WHAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY CHARGED! Also, all of the ladies that work there, have ZERO customer... service skills. None of them say thank you, or you're welcome. Golden Krust is way overpriced for what you get. They take advantage of their customers tbh. If you truly know Jamaican food... then you know not to eat here. I stop eating here for this reason. Tried letting my sister know the same but today she learnedher lesson and will deff not be coming back. The small is now being served in the same containers they use for side dishes.Looks like a joke I had to confirm to make sure and was told this is how they do it now. This might have been some of the best Jamaican food I've had in metro Atlanta. I got the oxtail meal with a spicy beef patty and... Mac and cheese. Every single item was immaculate. The rice getting soaked with the gravy was delicious, the oxtail was braisedso we'll with the perfect texture. The Mac and cheese was a solid compliment and done exactly right with that crust on top andfinally the beef patty tasted like it was made from scratch. It was flaky, buttery, flavorful beef inside. This was a first time trying this location as the snellville location was major crowded and the line for the drive thru was... wrapped around the corner. Oh how wished I had waited instead of driving over here. The server in the drive thru (team lead) asit stated in her badge was not the least bit friendly, just unwelcoming. Paying over 25.00 for a meal, I would expect better. Iordered the oxtail dinner. I should have just asked for a rice dinner. Because they packed the rice and topped it with thelittlest pieces of oxtails and literally a table spoon full of cabbage. See photos. The taste was not all good, the cabbage wastoo way too hard, almost raw. Just a waste of my money! This is my first and last time coming to this location. I advice to keepdriving past this one and try the Snellville Location. You will have to wait but its worth the trip. Choose wisely. Read more
