This classic Lawrence original has stood the test of expansion into yonder parts of Kansas and Missouri. While I miss the old... school feel of the first Yello Sub location (now replaced by the Oread Hotel), the sandwiches haven't changed a lot. That'sprobably because they make the bread onsite. Yum. Had the Beefeater sandwich and it didn't disappoint it disappeared. Hadn't eaten here for 15 yrs but has always been my... favorite sandwich spot. Finally got back to Lawrence and HAD to stop in. Young ladies working were super nice and the atmospherewas just as I remembered it. Must eat place that I have told people all about in my military travels. Read more

The staff is always very friendly & helpful. I ordered the California Crab sandwich, very tasty. They bake all of the... sandwiches fresh, so be prepared to wait a few minutes. The price us fair for the value & service. Read more

We are here from out of town and we found yello sub, they have a very unique and home grown refreshing feel! I gave them a... picky and slightly complicated order and they handled it. Turns out they overcharged me by $2.85 and and a gentleman walked upto me and told me about the mishap and straightened everything out and refunded me the money. Purchased a whole yellow sub, half bbq chicken, half mega roast beef. Food was outstanding as always.
