Just had taco John's on 6th street Lawrence ks and the mild sauce has been changed it is gross now thanks!
I ordered 3 crispy tacos. I honestly doubt there was a single tablespoon of beef in each one. Lots lettuce, a pinch of cheese... and that's it. I was very disappointed. I will try again, and next time, I will take pics. Read more
Food was excellent. I recommend the chicken boss burrito. The drive thru not so much we were second in line it took roughly 15... mins to get to the window once in the we paid and it took at least 10 more mins to get our change back do t know if the registerwas broke but she was using her phone to figure out our change which was $3.01 over all our time in the drive thru was about 30mins for 5 tacos 1 burrito 2 taco burgers. For a fast food place it's the best. The potato ones are delicious, just ask for unsalted unless you LOVE salt. I usually get... potato ole nacho salad it's Soooooo yummy. Food is usually hot. But the staff is always friendly and kind. Read more

The food was ok. They no longer have the sauces and cups out to help yourself. They have little packages of sauces available but... no cups or anything to put it in. The staff is a little withdrawn. Not friendly but not rude. Like they just don't care one wayor another. Doesn't seem that they are happy to be there. The floor was really greasy. Everything just seemed dirty and greasy.There are way better fast Mexican food places in Lawrence. It's too bad though, I use to love Taco John's food. Read more
Its a fast food spot. Went for their free veterans day meal. The food is good for fast texmex. The service is awesome. The staff... was not aware of the special but quickly found the answer and got our order. I will go back. Read more
