My first time there! I enjoyed putting together my own delicious dish and then have it cooked my me! Fun place to eat!
EDIT TO ADD: Rick, the general manager contacted me same day and was amazing! Come to find out, Noah was brand new that day... so, I understand the issue with the service. Waiting tables is hard work anyway and it?s especially hard when it?s you first dayand you don?t know the policy. Rick also reimbursed my meal and apologized. In short, They were quick to reach out and rectifythe problem, which I am very grateful for and impressed. My faith in HuHot is restored and I will remain a faithfulpatron! Normally we have a very good experience, today? not so much! Had the WORST server I think I?ve ever had ?Noah B?, or atleast in the bottom 3. He did not visit our table 1 time until he brought the check, no refills. Then, I asked for a box. . . Ihad been through the line 1 time, had eaten about 5 bites when my stomach revolted (not because the food wasn?t good, I have astomach issue that causes me to occasionally not be able to eat, unfortunately I don?t know it?s going to happen until I try toeat) I explained this to the server and he still would not let me have a box. So 1 whole meal wasted. It took him 8 minutes tomake change for our bill, and then he shorted us $3. The cook was very polite and cooked our meal well. We have come to this location many times but never left a review. We came in today for dine in to use a BOGO deal from the app.... There was a system issue so we couldn?t use the app but Adhar M spoke to the manager for us and was able to honor the dealanyways. Thank you! We travel 40 minutes from the KC area to visit this huhot because they have always been good to us. Read more
