We hosted my brother's engagement party there on 9/10/2022. Tara, the manager, drove to the restaurant to let us see the space,... gave me all the prices, food options ahead of time. We knew exactly what we were payinng and it never changed. Tara suggested Idrop off all the decorations, liquor and cupcakes ahead of the event so they could help us decorate and set up everything forthe dinner party. Let's now talk sbout Britney. Britney was our server and I couldn't have asked for someone more attentive whomade our event feel so special. She kept asking and making sure everything was to our satisfaction and we were happy. We weredefinitely happy with everything Britney did, especially how cute she made the tables and room look for the engagement. Britneyis a doll! If you need to use this place for an event, ask for Britney. I loved her. Now let's talk about the food...... WOW.Each person that came to the dinner party was raving about the food. It was truly delicious. The views and atmosphere are righton point. Great place to host an event or simply have a great meal with a fantastic view. Thank you Tara and Britney!!!! My Broand his fiance were very happy enjoyed the entire evening. Frankie Read more

First time going here - Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. View and ambiance was great, but my favorite thing was the food. Big... portions, but absolutely delicious. Might have been the best crab cakes I've ever had. I've never thought the food at therestaurants downtown the shore was great. It's been good, but not great. The food at Channel Marker Cafe is great. Can't wait togo back. Read more

Great food with a terrific view! I had a crispy buffalo chicken sandwich. With the creamy gorgonzola sauce, it was the perfect... mix of spicy, tangy, and savory. My son had the Channel Wings, which were meaty, and full of flavor. Read more

Do not order the sangria. It's absolutely awful. They could've at least Googled how to make it. Only to find out later it was... $40 a pitcher because it wasn't listed on the menu I had (they got me on that one). If it wasn't for the view I'd give it 2stars. Overall this place is just ok... Don't go out of your way to come here. Read more

Super excited that they are dog friendly outside. The service was exceptional. I'm sorry to say I don't remember the young... woman's name who was our server. She was excellent and very nice. The food portions were large. Food came out quickly and wasvery good. Definitely will go back again. Read more

I?ll lead with, don?t bring your family here. They don?t care about you or especially your kids. We are local to TR and have... been wanting to come to Channel Marker for years, no exaggeration. We decided to come by boat before heading out for the day. Icalled at 10am to inquire about a wait and available slips, but we arrived during changeover from breakfast to lunch due toquite a few unforeseen circumstances making us late. I was visibly upset and inquired about their flexibility since we had ourtwo small children with us that were starving. They were unable to accommodate us, so I told them we were going to sit on on thedock and feed our children the yogurt and fruit I had packed before we would leave. I asked to speak with a manager to politelyinquire about potentially ordering take-out or purchasing something already made that we could just give to our children, notus. I was told this is not an option, the kitchen is closed until 12:30pm. Then I feel like I?m begging, and ask if I can justpurchase some bread since we came by boat and I only had the yogurt and fruit for my kids. Still, the answer is a firm no! I?msorry, but I 100% was in disbelief and definitely said a choice word (which I immediately apologized for). If anyone has everhad small children, you could empathize even a little. I?ve served in many restaurants, and that was a decision call. Shortlyafter I overheard this manager state she worked at an elementary school?! Wow! And you wouldn?t even sell us a piece of bread tohold our children over? Trust me, if we had arrived by car we would?ve just left at the first moment. It was a little moreinvolved with the boat and the fact that we had planned to be out for the day. But we will be sure to spread the word about yourlack of compassion. Ironically, I tried to keep my cool because of my compassion for the staff and the potential nonsense theymay deal with on a day-to-day basis. Read more

Wow?.. this place was great. The food was really good, the portions were HUGE and it?s right on the water. I don?t get the... negative reviews I?ve seen for this place. It?s super hard to get good help nowadays so that I get but we had good service andgreat food. You?d be foolish to pass on this place. Read more
