Fast service, friendly staff and fresh ingredients. The restaurant closed early on Monday and Tuesday at 6pm. Wish they put more... sauce on the meat. Read more

Menu du jour to be avoided. The main issue is the chicken which has a weird marshmellow-like texture- like its reconstituted or... fake meat. Very dry and papery texture which both my son and I noticed and tried to figure out what was wrong with it- like ithad some chemical treatment done to it to transform it into something inorganic or something. The beef was good- fresh- as wellas the tomato rice. The vegetable accompaniment- the courgettes and corn were uncooked, cold and tasteless. 19$ is overpricedfor this below average plate that used to be much tastier 2 years ago. Disappointed. I USED to absolutely love the chicken at grillade torino. I ordered my usual chicken plate and the texture was just off. It... almost felt like it wasn?t chicken. Tasted like everything but chicken. The meat had no texture, not sure what it was butdefinitely wont be going back anytime soon. Very disappointing. Read more

In one word, I would describe this place as WOW. First of all, I went to order and they were so respectful and polite. The... workers greeted me so kindly and they were welcoming. The prepared my food quickly and everything I wanted was available andfresh. The potatoes are constantly being fried so I know it?s fresh and the taste is just impeccable. The rice was so delicious, fluffy and FRESH, not dry like the other middle eastern restaurants (Amir ????). Actually I can confidently say that it?s thebest rice i?ve had from any middle eastern fast food place (compared to Amir, Boustan, Basha). Torino definitely has the bestrice and potatoes compared to them. Last but definitely not least, let?s talk about their chicken. They should call it kingchicken because it?s made for kings. The taste is just so juicy and the sauce they put on it is like it came from heaven. Gosh,if I had more space in my stomach I would get a second plate. Read more

Montrealers love middle eastern food and I?m no exception. I?ve had my share of the delicious food from the usual quick spots... like Boustan, Amir, Basha, Kebeh Kebab, and my favorite, Abu Elias. This spot supposedly stands a notch higher because they usehigher quality ingredients. Grillades Torino(Laval), takes mall food to another level by grilling the meats right in front ofyou. I ordered the chicken and beef plate which comes with 3 choices, I picked white rice, brocoli and vegetables, and thefattoush salad as sides. The beef was unexpectedly tender and medium cooked to my request, was it a filet mignon cut? Sure tastelike it. The chicken was also a hit, juicy and tasty. However, 2 sides orders were misses. Not sure if the cook had an off daybut both, the brocoli & vegetables side and the fattoush salad, were very salty and inedible. Very fixable, just go easy withthe salt. I will come back for the grilled meats. Read more
