This had to have been one of the worst dining experiences of my life. It began with attempting to use the online ordering system... for a curbside pickup at about 8 PM. The system kept rejecting the order for whatever reason. I even tried 2 other cards forpayment and it still rejected my order. I called and was placed on hold for quite sometime until suddenly disconnected. I wasnow at the drugstore picking up some things and once done shopping called back to place my order. It was then explained to mecurbside pickup isn't available after 9 PM even though online it shows 9:30 PM OK, whatever just let me place my order. So Iorder the grilled chicken breast & the Fiesta lime chicken. Upon arrival I walk in the front door to 3 employees dancing around& goofing off, one looked at me and stated "just 1 of you?" I explained that no I was picking up a to go order. He rolls hiseyes and said you're at the wrong spot, you gotta go to that kiosk and began turning away from me. I told him I didn't knowwhere that was, I thought I came into the main entrance. Big sigh & then tells me come on I'll take you there. So we proceed tothe complete opposite corner of the restaurant and the woman there gives me the total and while waiting for the card process Iasked if the time change for curbside changed recently. You would have thought I had insulted her family tree! She told me no,it has always been 9 PM it even says it on the door while pointing at the back door (not the door I came in) and that everybodyknows that. I apologized and explained that I wasn't from the area, had never been there before and I was only going by what Iwas seeing online which stated 9:30 PM she responded with whatever, it's on the door. Pushed the charge slip across to me anddropped a pen by it. I am normally pretty forgiving about things and tip but after all this I just couldn't. I grabbed my foodand left. Our waitress acted like she was stoned,unfriendly,slow,and not good at her job! The food was just a burger and not that... good.They had a deal to add wings for a buck,yuck! Chicken nuggets smothered in liquid smoke! The bar tender was nice,we keptgoing to her when we needed something,waitress was zoned out! Read more
The place was not busy Sunday night, 6:30. However the staff and service was not good. After being seated it was a good ten... minutes to give a drink order which was hot tea and a diet soda. Hot tea had never been heard of. Finally asked for hot waterand I provided the tea bag. It was another 8-9 minutes from that time to get my soda. Order was taken, no issues. Food was a bitslow in arriving but you could tell something had gone on in the background and the staff were reacting to it. One lady was ahustler while our server was not. The server brought the bill while we were barely 1/2 done our meal. Just not a great overallexperience. I hope things get better. Read more
The service was very good, thanx Jazmaine!! But the food definitely was not as good as it use to be. I got the Bourbon St Steak... which use to be very good, this time it was a round steak instead of oblong and it was drowned with a garlic topping, verydisappointed. The drink from the bar had more fruit syrup in it than liquor, things sure have changed ???????? Read more
I have never had any issues with any Applebee's food. This location, the food was good, hot, and to our table in a reasonable... amount of time. The server was responsive and polite. That said, here is my issue. The place needs a good cleaning. Flies keptpestering us while we ate. The table was sticky. Dried food on the edge of the table. Bulbs were out, making it harder to seeeven the menu. As I pulled my chair up to the table, there was something wet and sticky at the front bottom of the chaircushion/frame. My son took me out to eat after a long day of shopping...food was good- steaks were cooked exactly like we asked and my... Walk-me-down was Right in Point. Only issue was they did not do anything special for my son's bday but we felt like the waitresswas too busy& just didn't. Read more
New to town and asked new coworkers where the best place to socialize. I was shocked that both said Applebees. I came that night... and fell in love. The staff is phenomenal and they have such amazing drinks! Read more
