Very nice atmospehere and the cashier was very nice. I came to this place because of the Fox5 DC segment. I was not able to... order anything because this place does not cater to vegans. I was really hoping I could at least order rice and peas orcocobread but that was not on the menu. I ordered their fufu entree!! Twice because the first time they sent jollof rice! Instead of the EBA!! I called and even put a... note on the Uber to remind them that I needed the fufu. The lady said she will add extra! I received my order and here it isanother order with rice!! I don't want to eat egusi with rice! This is so upsetting Read more
The food here has been great ever since we started coming however ever since you all turned on online ordering NO ONE ANSWERS... THE PHONE. Weeks we have been trying to call to place a catering order (because you can't do it online) and no one hasanswered, and we've tried several different times of the day (soon after opening, through out the day and towards closingtime). Was excited for this order as I love African food but the experience could've been better. Ordered online and got confirmation... that it would be ready 20-30min. I went to pickup 40min later and it wasn't ready. The jersey chicken I ordered online wasn'tavailable at the restaurant and they actually didn't carry it anymore. Chinchin wasn't available online but it was there at thestore so they need to update their website. After standing in line and taking more time, I ended up getting the chicken stew andthe food was pretty good though for the price paid I'd have liked a better portion size. The side of okra was verydisappointing, very plain and tasteless, no seasoning or anything and it just looked pale. One server was kinder than the otherso she could use some skills on customer service and putting a smile on when a customer greets you. Read more
The people are nice, and the food was really good. It was my first time there.
Sooooo delicious!!!! I drive over an hour for this food. It is very well prepared and the staff is amazing. It feels so much... like home when you walk in. I suggest trying all of the stews and fish rolls are a treat!!!! 10 stars if I could. Love ithere!!! Read more

I am a vegan and allergic to fish.I asked the woman if the stew I ordered was vegan... she said yeah no meat. I got the stew... home and I was loaded with beef, and apparently fish which is all I could taste. I will not be returning to this place. DO NOTPATRONIZE THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE ANY TYPE OF ALLERGIES.
