I?ve used Cakes Plus many times over the years and I?m always pleased at their consistency. Their cakes are delicious,... competitively priced and the bakery is always well staffed. Give them a week to two weeks for a Custom cake or stop by the sameday to chose a pre made basic cake you can jazz up. This bakery has thee best cakes/cupcakes! We had a party on Saturday where the cupcakes were made by Cakes Plus. I have been... waiting to go pick up a cake when they open again on Tuesday for my family. The cake recipe is amazing but the icing isliterally the icing on the cake!! It?s not too sweet and the flavors of the two together are to die for! For my own events, Idon?t think I?d buy a cake from elsewhere again. You get what you pay for and it?s worth every cent!! I absolutely love my cake. I tried them out per my friend?s suggestion & I am so happy I did. Their customer service is amazing... I had an issue come up where I wouldn?t be able to pick the order up at the time I selected and the change was very last minuteon my part. They worked with me and I was able to get the order as I would rather come to pick it up as soon as they open versuscanceling the order. I ordered a custom cake from Cakes Plus for my dads 60th birthday party. I specifically asked for a carved 6 and 0. I even... emailed cakes plus examples of what I wanted just to be clear. When I picked up the cake I was extremely disappointed. The cakewas NOT what I asked and paid for. The green and white cake is what Cakes Plus made and the blue and white is an example of whatI wanted. In addition, they spelled my dads name wrong. Thankfully they were able to fix that while I waited. The lady thatworked there did take $60 off my remaining balance but it still did not make up for the dissatisfaction.
