It's 50/ 50 with this restaurant I ordered a couple of days ago and the pizza was bomb with fast delivery but the most recent... order I did was awful because they put some on the toppings under the cheese which doesn't make sense because it's called atopping for a reason and was supposed to be out on top of the cheese. So I went to Papa John's Lauderdale lakes and when I entered I was greeted and helped asap. I made an online order so it was... just a quick pickup and go situation. There was a menu item that was on the board, but was not online that I wanted. I asked ifI could buy the item in store since I didn't see it when I made my order. The young man at the register politely told me it wasa discontinued item. He then asked the manager, I was told his name was Tim, about the item. He also informed me of the sameinformation. What has me writing this review though is that despite the discontinuation of the item, the young man and Timdecided to make the last batch for me and give it to me FREE OF CHARGE! That was an awesome gesture! And though most wouldn'tsee that as anything, it was a huge deal in the wake of the current state of customer service. Those guys could've just said noand kept it moving. But this was an example of going above and beyond. I want to thank those guys for that and wish them allsuccess. That was more than they could ever know! Simple things do make some people's day! No one cares. The door was closed. Cont8was thru window. There were 3 customers waiting to pickup their orders. The manager was... arguing with pregnant woman. Heard the Gm manager proud of having 3 locations and so on. The others were wondering around notoffering to help. One was cashier busy collecting/counting tips. The gm said in 5 the pizza will be ready because their systemis down. 15 minutes passed no one cared to ask why we waiting.
