They don?t use gloves when preparing the food. I didn?t see them wash their hands before putting their bare hands on the smoked... meat either. That?s nasty. These people are running a kitchen like it?s 1985. You would think that sanitation would be a toppriority in the food handling industry, at Valentines it?s not. This place is nasty. Decent place but food quality is not very good.
The Extreme Poutine was super tasty, cheese over and under, Guedille au Poulet was on point and nice steamed hot-dogs.
If you are in Quebec city and wanna try a good poutine, don't go to Ashton, get one in Valentine. This is the better tip I could... give you as a Quebecer. Read more
Gravy is a bit salty, but good fries and good amount of cheese.
Fries aren't as good as other Valentine restaurants. Yes, that's possible. And they don't accept credit cards.
Good smoked meat poutine, onion rings and steamie hot dogs. Nice service; friendly.
