Showers are slick (I fall easily) but clean. Employees are not exactly friendly. The drink area is always wet, my husband fell... flat on his face because it is not kept clean and dry. Employees just looked at him, no one helped or asked if he was ok. Thecity cops patrol the lot and if they don't like the way you look or whatever, they make you move or leave. I wish I could give 5 stars because the employees and manager are so nice here. There needs to be more parking spaces.... Driver's lounge was filthy. Tables up front for eating were filthy. We initially cleaned our own table, but we also notified amanager that the area needed cleaned. He cleaned it up himself. Food was good. We enjoyed our stay here. Come in early if youwant a free place to park. Read more
The property has a mandatory CDL policy for showers, However be warned. For this reason I give four stars . OTR NON CDL DRIVERS... MAY NOT BE ABLE to clean up depending on the cashier. The place is traditional stop. A decently clean & well stock store. Read more
Dont know wha people are raving about when it comes to this location!!!! The female manager with the blonde curly hair is very... rude to drivers. Being an owner operator sometimes i need to park and drop the trailer and go do my shopping. I stopped herepaid for a reserved spot then the manager i mentioned rudely lied to me and told me it was against the law in that county todrop trailers. I called the county sheriff and he told me she was lieing to me. Went in to talk to her again she rudely told meshe didnt have time to talk to me and was sick and tired of answering the same questions all truck drivers ask. Multiplemanagers keep giving the same lie and wanting to argue about the fact that it is the law and it is not. Basically they say thatlaw enforcement does not know the law and isnt that what they do for a living.... This pilot flying J is also very dirty andunclean. The bathrooms were not tended too by pilot policy for hours i went in the womens room and the pitvures attached were ofthe restroom tgrough all shift..the morning shift did decide to empty the big trash cans and pick up the toilet paper off thefloor without making sure the toilet flushed nothing ever smelled freshly cleaned the feminie trash cans in the stalls are stilloverflowing and nasty never gets emptied. You may just get sick here if not with covid with something else ... we have left thislocation and gone to the vanco truck stop 5 miles up the road where there is no issues with anything i need or want to do. This is saved in my favorites! Plenty of parking space, great coffee, fresh food, friendly employees, a Cinnabon, clean showers... & they are all big. No complaints whatsoever. kudos to Management and the employees! ???????????? Read more
I stepped inside and received a glorious slap in the face!! I kept thinking, is this a flying j or a different stop. The... establishment was very clean. I checked out the coolers and shelves, fully stocked. They have a variety of foods which otherlocations don't have. The staff was helpful and beautiful. I have a single word to describe this location- WOW. As you can seeby pictures, this can't be a flying j. Keep up the exceptional work!! I was here few weeks ago and you have returned, theestablishment is still maculate as you walk in. Staff is real good with customer service. Recently, I gave this location 5stars, well, they rose the standards, this is ultimately the first time, I gave a truck stop more than 5 stars- giving thisestablishment 6 stars. This. Flying J has just opened at few months ago last year. Their buffet of different ontrays are nice! Loved the Pot Roast!... There's also a Laundry area at $2.50 Washer/Dryer with a large screen TV. Overall this place is spotless, right off the I-5. Thedown side, is The train at night when sleeping. Let me tell you, something we?re talking about a truck stop here. But the freakin buffet menu is incredible. We go there a... couple times a month and spend 250 bucks on meatloaf, chicken, Mac and cheese, potluck, cinnibun, salads idc what we get it?sall incredible. PIZZA ???? omg I love the pizza. Read more
