Went in here for a quick lunch. Took too long for the two 10 inch pizzas to be made. My husband?s lunch is 30 mins and we were... hoping to have a quick bite together. It wasn?t even busy at the time. Cashier was friendly and nice. Ended up not having timeto eat because they took too long. Overall not a good first time experience. Edit : Changed to 3 stars because they make saucefrom scratch. Next time I?ll order ahead. Other worker who assisted was very nice. Cannoli?s are good. This place is a Diamond In the Rough!!! I ordered a tray of eggplant last weekend for a small party I was having. Let me tell... you something, it was the BEST eggplant I've ever had!!!! Closest to my own eggplant in presentation, flavor, texture andtaste for sure!!! I highly recommend A Taste of Italy for sure. The price was very reasonable and the amount of food wascrazy!!! I ordered a large pepperoni pizza for pickup and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. The order actually took 40 minutes. ... I wasn't in a hurry so no big deal. They apologized for the wait. The pizza itself was great. Sauce, cheese, crust and pepperoniwere all excellent and in good proportion. Crust was a nice blend of crunchy and chewy cooked to a golden brown. There was agenerous amount of pepperoni and cheese. This could be my new go to pizza place. Update 7/4/22: Okay it's a holiday, I get it,but I ordered a x-large pizza and wings and was told 35-40 minutes for pickup. It took one hour and 15 minutes for my order tobe ready. If I was having my orders delivered I'd be more forgiving but these were both pickup orders. You know how busy youare when someone calls, if it's going to take an hour or more tell me up front. This restaurant is amazing pizza and wings great outstanding service. My wife saw the ad in a magazine and also on TV and... decided to try it, at first we thought eh maybe. But after tasting the food incredible. A 21 inch pizza, the sauce is not thecanned variety but homemade meaty and delicious?there is no restaurant in Schoharie County that can compare. Last night we went here for dinner, I have to say it was one of the best experiences that I have had. The customer service was... outstanding our waiter James was very helpful. Frank the owner showed us outstanding hospitality. We had The deep fried Mac andcheese with the Buffalo chicken and also a Stromboli. Absolutely amazing ???? keep up the great work! Read more
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service here. The food here was good: lemon pasta was unique and... flavorful, the veggie calzone was stuffed full of cheese and vegetables, the pasta was better than I expected. Considering someof the other reviews the food here was very good. What stands out more, though, are the portion sizes. The large calzone thatI attached a picture of was very large, probably 3 peoples worth of food, and the pasta dishes despite being the regular ordersize were big. The baked ziti seemed more like it was for 2 people than 1, so you will probably have some to take homelater. I think that most people will be very happy with the quality (and especially quantity) of food here. The girl at thecounter was helpful and friendly, good service as well. Read more
