This place is a must for breakfast! After dining here twice, my son hit it out of the park with the chocolate chip pancakes and... waffle, my daughter LOVED the açaí bowl. As we stayed at Waldorf Astoria, we had breakfast in Zen Kitchen for 4 days and everyday we tried something new. Staff is very... friendly and accommodating. We were helped by Kenneth and Saul on most occasions. Great breakfast options for vegan. However,the options are very limited for lunch and dinner. Highly recommended. Read more
This was the most peaceful and "zen" restaurant I have dined in. It felt like you were a guest at someone's house and didn't... feel like a restaurant. We started with some light and elegant dishes like avocado toast with thick slices of bread and a veryfilling ahi tuna poke bowl with the freshest tuna from California. The main attraction was the dessert and these were deliciousboth in taste and looks. First was a tiramisu 3-layer chocolate cake with Gold edible flakes that had a chocolate ball that youcan crack open with a spoon and then we also had the lovely red velvet strawberry cage. A wall of hard chocolate in a bird cagethat you had to crack open to reveal a beautiful and smooth gold-tipped dessert. A very peaceful breakfast and one that I wouldrecommend to start your day. Be careful - they don?t have sushi for lunch but they said they do serve it for dinner. The poke bowl is comparable to sushi on... their lunch menu, and it was good. The lunch atmosphere was nice and quiet. Read more
