Slow, lackadaisical bartender did not really make us feel welcome. Food was decent pub food, but the sirloin was aged and had a... distinct sour taste. Some prefer that, I do not. The atmosphere was quiet, with no banter or joking to be had. Every step of ourexperience needed prompting, from ordering a drink to getting condiments. 6 months later still great! Brought friends over for my birthday and we all think lunch is great! Had Shrimp scampi this time... and it was great. The Village pub is one heck of a gem in Las Vegas. The locals seem to vote them best every year. This isthe first place ever I have had a steak cooked perfectly to my liking. As you can see from my travels, I have been all overthe world. Saturday is Prime Rib special and somehow they were able to cook this huge slab perfectly through to when pink isjust gone. The seasoning was great and one of the tastiest steaks I have ever had. The green beans with garlic was reallytasty. Our server was friendly and attentive, top hat off to him. My bestie had a brisket I think, and it was awesome to thepoint where she made us eat here every evening when we had no other dinner engagements during our visit. The Atlantic cod fishand chips made with Ellis Beer was really great. I love the taste of the fish. Ellis Beer was flavorful if you like Portersand Stouts, my personal favorite types. The breakfast on Sunday was just ok, not bad but not great either. I find the bestfood is off the tourist area and this is one heck of a place to the point I will travel to Vegas just to eat here. No casino onthe strip comes close to the food and value you get at the Village Pub. I don't gamble, but the sports and gambling area lookedvery clean and modern and there were usually a good crowd gambling. Read more
This place has a big bar with gambling option and food too. We went to the restaurant area because my daughter was with us, so... you can eat without problem there with your kids. Everything looked clean and great service. Inside looks like night any time ofthe day. They have the same menu of Ellis Island Casino Cafe that it has several Pubs around the city so the beer and root beerit's made by them. Read more

I love Vegas because of hidden gems like this. If you didn't know, Village Pubs are owned by the Ellis Island and carry some of... their locally brewed beers. The 8.95 Sirloin Special is amazing. Not only that but they also carry Snap-o-Razzle dogs. Iordered one of the hot dog specials and the bun was cold and hard, usually you'd complain because it ruins the hotdog. I 100%DID NOT GIVE A RATS *** the hot dog was truly blissful. Our bartender was amazing and got replacements sent out when she heardabout the bun issue (i had less than two bites left).
