One day I was craving roast beef but didn't want the hassle of going to the grocery store or having to wait the 2-3 hours for... the meat to cook. Honey Baked Ham became the obvious choice to get an already cooked roast. After all they have pre-cooked hamand turkey. I rush to HBH and to my surprise I am directed to the freezer section for a frozen pre-cooked roast. I was told bythe cashier on duty that I would need to thaw it for 24 hours, then it would only take 35 minutes to heat. That didn't helpsince I wanted the roast that day. The coast was $35 for a 5 lb roast serving 8-10 people. I was even convinced to buy a tray offrozen mashed potatoes. Once home I defrosted the roast in 2 1/2 hours then put it in the oven. The roast is a nice size andcomes with gravy. Once heated the roast was tender and tasty. The gravy was a little saltier than I would prefer but my cravingfor roast beef was satisfied. Due to the cost I doubt I will go this route but will continue to buy my ham here during theholiday season. The employee was very polite and helpful. It's true people, Honey Baked, is not just for holidays or special occasions... I come here just for lunch sometimes. I've been... to this location several times they have a variety of... Nicole (on the register) and Tyler (who made my sandwich) have beenthe ones to helped me in my most recent visits. They're both so nice, and were able to answer all of my random questions. I'llmost definitely be returning for lunch, dinner, and on special occasions as well. ???? Read more
The first day I went in to get a ham bone and the guy told me there was no ham bones I had to come back tomorrow I said okay... when is a good time to come back he said we open at 9:30 you can be here by 10:30 I said okay the next day I arrived at 10:41there was a different gentleman at the register I said I need two ham bones he told me there are none but he never turned aroundto look as I could see two ham bones right there I then said there's some right there he said I can only give you one anothercustomer was waiting on that they're going to be back I said but I'm here right now he then got very irate his supervisor toldhim to give me the ham bone first come first serve the guy was very rude I did not like it don't understand why he was trying tohoard the ham bones.
