Sooo, this is my 2nd time here. I was playing my 'free' pennies when my Host called me and offered me dinner "on the house". ... Well im certainly not passing that up. Although, next time at Palace Station, i may choose a different venue. Anywhoo. 1sttime, service is ok... this time MUCH better. Back to the beginning lol on my fist visit, I ordered a BOTTLE of wine at thebar, this time at a table. The 1st bartender [don't remember his name] (I'm later told he was filling in because they wereshort staffed ????) opens the bottle on the counter out of my view (having the bottle presented and opened IN FRONT OF YOU ispart of the experience of ordering a bottle of WINE), poured a 1/2 CARAF and brings it to me!!! No, NO, NO Sirrrr! So, yes, Irequested a new bottle and fortunately, they obliged. This visit, Jessica provided the proper experience. 1st time my steakwas HORRIBLE. 2nd, time MUCH BETTER! My 10 oz butterflied, well done (no pink), au poivre, supreme Oscar style (y'allskimped on this $19 addition, but i digress) Filet Mignon is cooked to perfection! So the jury is still deliberating. But onething I am CERTAIN of-- Sonoma @ Sunset Station with Anthony & Amber IS A MUCH BETTER Steakhouse!!! I have decided to give TheCharcoal Room ONE more try! Read more
Steak and bacon wrapped shrimp was good. Twice baked potato was a miss for me. It was more like a cubed potato with sauce... boat. Service was fine, he could’ve been more attentive with attention to detail. It felt like we were more of anafterthought than a valued guests. Really good food, lots of stand outs. The Charred corn was sweet, a bit salty and had some interesting flair. The Hash brown... was crazy good. Gooey, creamy cheesy, buttery insides with perfectly browned potatoes. A first of its kind for me. The steakwas above par and easily fares well for its price range. The chocolate cake was not as well received by our younger friends whothought it had too much of a coffee flavor. Their older chaperones found them to be crazy and lacking the refined palettenecessary to have a valid opinion. This cake well textured with a rich, deep cocoa flavor that was uniquely entertaining. It'sa must try for anyone old enough to appreciate a standout chocolate cake that is almost worth the visit all alone. Also, baconwrapped shrimp. Yumm. Read more
The charcoal room was an amazing experience. From start to finish. The attention to detail and the ambiance was outstanding. My... wife and I attended to celebrate our second wedding anniversary. We ordered beef tartare and oyster’s Rockefeller to start.Both ordered ribeyes, one medium well and the other medium, both perfect. Taste and presentation were great. Sides we hadgrilled asparagus and mashed yams. They even brought out crème brulee for our anniversary. Wonderful dining experience, all ofthe staff was helpful and kind. 10/10 would recommend and dine again when back in Vegas. Read more
Atmosphere is very welcoming, can be great date night, general celebration or formal something. Staff is always very... accommodating, very pleasant and take great care of you. Food potions are large; if you eat bread, an app or salad and yourentre, something is going home in a box. The food is top notch, sometimes we go with the recommendation of the server, nevergone wrong yet. Read more
Wow! This place exceeded all my expectations! I have been to MANY different steak houses in the Las Vegas area and this was one... of the best from start to finish. My drink, the Amazing (and large) salad,my perfectly cooked steak, the reasonably pricedwine bottles, delicious sides and of course dessert! Service was great and all this at 2/3 of the normal cost! We were a large party of 8 to celebrate ???? My fiancé Brandon Hudson Birthday as well as his accomplishments at Palace... Station, he was given a certificate and award for employee of the quarter for Security department. We held onto the certificatefor his birthday, well prior to that he got a promotion ( how perfect) we dinned in Charcoal Room and was impressed by the foodand the service. The drinks were wonderful as well! I highly recommend the steak. Very accommodating staff and friendly service,food was so flavorful and tasty! One side can easily be shared as the portion is perfect for that! Thank you to the staff formaking this mild stone and accomplishments such a beautiful celebration ???? Read more
The food is better than your more expensive steak house options. Absolutely amazing! We had sea food, lamb, crab, and steak…... all were absolutely to die for! Freddy, Jessica, Mark, and Sandra were sweeethearts. Totally made our whole trip. Thank youguys!! Read more
