Finally went in and I?m glad I did! I?ve always wanted to try taiyaki and I go past this shop every time I visit my... chiropractor. I got 5 taiyaki for $9.20. Not bad for the size of them! I tried everything but taro and they were all good. Thecheddar one is a little chewy, so if you?re looking for gooey cheese sauce maybe don?t get it. I loved it though. This was an interesting place to get some ice cream. It is soft serve mixed with waffles in the shape of fish. The combination... was a delightful treat. The ice cream is pretty good and they have some non traditional flavors like Ube. The waffle is not toosweet and can be filled with things like Nutella, red bean, and a variety of other pastes and jellies. It can be a bit messy attimes, but you get a good amount of ice cream for the price and the service is great. Love it! Got the upside down with weekly swirl of Thai Tea & Black Sesame, custard filling. The best flavors of Thai tea and... black sesame I?ve had. The soft serve is super soft. It was $6.45 for the whole thing, which is typical for something likethis. If you don?t want soft serve ice cream I definitely recommend still stopping in as the taiyaki is a smaller sweet treat.The taiyaki is cooked fresh to order when you order them on their own, otherwise they precook them for the soft serve. This was my first time having ahboong and oh man did it live up to the hype! I got the ube soft serve with toasted coconut on... top and the red bean filling for my taiyaki. The flavors were all well balanced and none were too sweet. I loved the taiyaki asa medium for eating ice cream - it was light, fluffy, and crispy all at the same time and of course, super cute! Such a welcoming little shop.. the staff is sweet and patient with newbies to briefly explain the choices? The inside is clean... and spacious, accessible restrooms?. They selections are all pretty delicious. I?ve been a couple of times, my tastebuds reallyenjoyed every trip! The prices are perfect honestly for the amount you get. My family spend about 30$ for everyone (5 ppl) togive you a ballpark and they don?t hold back. Ugh, the fish waffles molds are AMAZING so soft and full of various deliciousfillings.
