When in a steak house, you usually choose a steak. I decided to go with the salmon. It was a work of art. The curry underneath... and the crunchy skin was amazing. It was our first time here last night and it was a great experience. Our steak was cooked perfect (median rare). As most high... end restaurants seem to not get it right. The lobster fried rice was sooooo good. The jumbo lump crab & shrimp Lou salad wasok. I'm the type that don't like creamy stuff added in my seafood and I didn't realize it was made like that. The bread wasgood. I just wished it came with different butter. It's difficult to spread cold butter on the bread. Our Yellowstone Old Fashion was on point. Our waiter split our food on separate plates in which a couple meals look small in the pictures. Ambienceinside was very warming and clean. Our waiter was very nice and professional. Went here last night for my friend's birthday. The service was good but it was scattered service and not consistent. We ordered... some appetizers and got some sodas. The sodas were not free refills so of course the waiter kept bringing them out. For 40bucks for soda, I should have ordered liquor. The free range chicken was delicious, but the food was nothing to brag about.Definitely had better. The piano player was amazing though and that helped while we waited forever to receive our dinner. Vegashas this habit of over priced food just because it's in Vegas. Don't mind dropping $600 on a dinner but it should be somethingto brag about and keep customers returning. Read more
Wife and I went here today for our anniversary, and we're very glad we did! Everyone was great, but have to recognize Rick and... Tommy as our two man crew that made the experience amazing. The steaks were perfection, cooked exactly as we requested, and ofthe highest quality. The decor and lighting tied it all together neatly. The sides were excellent, with slightly differentinterpretations of classic dishes setting them apart from other steakhouses. Wow! What a beautiful experience I had at Scotch 80 Prime. loved the live piano music and the atmosphere. The staff was lovely... and made you feel like royalty. When dinner was planned, I was a little concerned that I wouldn’t have many options to chosefrom. It is a steak house and I have been on a plant based diet for 7 years, but I was wrong! While I did have a salad. It wasdelicious and fuuuull of flavor. I was also able to enjoy an entire spread with with my friends! I had many appetizers, themain course and a variety of fresh sorbets for desert. SO many tasty flavors. If you’re a vegan or vegetarian and looking fora nice place to have a romantic dinner I highly recommend Scotch 80 inside the Palms hotel and Casino. One of the best dinners I’ve had in a while. The service was superb. The piano player was great! This was easily the highlight... of the stay at the Palms, as the hotel is under new management and recently reopened after the pandemic. Louise was our serverand he was great. We have frequented the Palm since it’s reopening and I have been so pleased with the perks and amenities. We dined at Scotch... 80 and everything was top notch, from the service to the ambiance to the food. We had the crab cake appetizer that was fresh anda crunchy top layer. The lamb chops and king crab were cooked to perfection. We opted out of dessert as we were full. Thisdefinitely is a place to check out for an upscale dining experience. Read more
