Well. What can I say other than poor quality & Poor service. I usually love Roberto?s and this was my first bad experience. I... don?t feel the food was made to order. Cheese wasn?t even melted and food wasn?t warm and we did eat our food there. This wasnothing more than gas station food which left 2 out of the 8 of us sick. The cashier wouldn?t even give us an extra container totake our food home even after we offered to pay for it. She said ?those are for our orders? Worst customer service experience ever !! Whoever Brenda is that works at the front cashier, with red lipstick and brunette hair... needs to be fired ! I called to place a pick up order like I usually do and she picked up the phone and spoke in English thentold me she didn?t speak English. Upon asking if she could pass the phone to someone who does, she started laughing and hung upin my face. Then when I got to Roberto?s she said no one there could take my order because no one spoke English ! Which is a liebecause I order from this location all the time !! Very disappointed in the staff. I ordered a torta and it came out so soggy. It literally fell apart onto the floor and when I called the store to complain they... wanted me to pick it up and bring it back? At this point it looks like throw up on the floor. But bc of that there?s nothingthey can do. Awful. Read more
I've been going to Roberto's Taco Shops in Las Vegas since the early 2000's. Someone once told me they had the best nachos. I... still think that's true to this day. What makes them so good is the toppings. You can get your choice of meat, such as shreddedbeef, chicken, carne asada, or just beans, if you'd like. The other toppings are too numerous, peppers, onions, sauces, and ofcourse, cheese. Not just shredded cheddar cheese, but cotija cheese. This is the little white crumbles of cheese which don'tseem to melt, but are oh so good! The tortilla chips can become a little soggy, but they seem to be made fresh from thetortillas there in the shop. By the way, these tortillas can be made as big as 18 inches in diameter. Huge! Usually, those bigones are served as a side to an entrée and not normally wrapping a burrito (although that would me amazing!) I want to take anextra minute to talk about the shredded beef. It's so flavorful and tasty. I don't know how they prepare or cook it, but it's sotender and juicy, it reminds me of my mother's pot roast: Delicious! Roberto's is open 24 hours, 7 Days a week. They alwaysseem to have people of Hispanic origin working there, giving that authenticity you would expect from a Mexican food place. Veryfriendly, helpful, and patient! when deciding what to order (their menu is VAST!). This location is inside the FabulousFreddy's Convenience Store/Car Wash. They have about six small tables to sit at, perhaps grabbing a snack while waiting for yourcar wash or oil change. One disappointing thing about this location is they no longer carry Chile Colorado. This dish is one ofthe absolute BEST foods on the Roberto's menu WHEN you can find a location which carries it. It comes with small cubes of beefmarinated in a slightly spicy red sauce, served with rice and beans (or you can get a burrito!). I don't particular care for the customer service at this location. But the food Is always good. So who can complain too much?... This location is in a gas station that's also 24 hours. So go get your taco fix at 2am. They'll be there. Read more
