Great place in the Wynn. I highly recommend the Mongolian beef, stir fried vegetables with shrimp, fried rice with shrimp, and... the eggplants. All the plates here go perfectly with the hot sauce they provide. It's a great atmosphere for dates, solo, andwith friends! So close to the casino floor and steps away from the room elevators. Can you tell how much we ordered? Yeah it?s good, especially when it?s from credits for playing at the Wynn so much. I mean it?s... one of the better Chinese places around this parts of the strip. The food was super tasty and the portion sizes were big. We got the Mongolian beef and fried rice shrimp. Since it?s usually... busy, it is best to make a reservation to avoid waiting in line. We had to wait for 30 minutes which is understandable. The menuhas a very good variety of Asian cuisine and the prices are fair compared to other restaurants at the Wynn hotel. Had a lovely dinner at Red 8. I would have given it 5 stars but the waiter wasn?t so great- wouldn?t even put my beer in the... glass and it seems like the food has been more ?Americanized? since my last time here 10 years ago. That being said the softshell crab was delicious as were the dumplings and hot and sour soup! Read more

The food here was pretty decent but the reason for 3 stars and not 5 stars was because of service. Our server was pretty... nonexistent most of the evening. After getting our drinks, taking our order, our server only managed to check on us once at thebeginning and never ask to see how our food were. She Never even look to see if we needed more water or anything else. Most ofour water glasses were empty the whole time. Dirty plates and dishes were never clear until when the check was dropped. Not sureif there's any SA or not but this is supposed to be a high-end Chinese restaurant with pretty high price tags but service waslacking for sure and not up to par for the price and the extremely long wait (almost 2 hours to be seated).
