The new ownership has really screwed over this location. My sandwich was made incredibly sloppy the last time I was there, and I... couldn?t even order double bacon. They said their new system wouldn?t allow it. They won?t be seeing me at this locationanymore, and I know it?s only a matter of time before the new ownership drives out the remaining customers. We just dropped off my Aunt to the airport and my diabetic mom was getting dizzy from not eating because she was busy today, so... we drove to the nearest food. The Ramen place was closed so we decided on Port of Subs, but they were closed. Slight bummer, butwe were gonna walk to Chipotle instead. One of the employees called us inside and served us, and had phenomenal customerservice, despite of been closed for 15 minutes already. She talked about how she hates turning people away when they're hungry,and was overall just super sweet. The sandwiches were good too. Mom tipped $4 on the card but I insisted tipping $15 cashbecause as a fellow food service worker myself I've been frustrated with last minute customers. However tonight I was outshone,and gotta rethink my own customer service skills. Thank you to the lovely ladies who worked Friday night! I really hate doing this because I am a big port of subs fan. I?ve been going to this specific location for over 3 years. I... could instantly tell they have new owners and the quality of sandwiches has immediately gone down. I would equate this port ofsubs to the one on sandhill and sunset (worst port of subs I?ve ever been too). My fiancé?s sandwich was a mess because theworker couldn?t figure out how to roll it nicely in the paper. I?m going to hope this is just due to new owners and being new,but I highly doubt it. So these are apparently the new owners. Please go and visit them and order something delicious. The new owners are super... friendly and very accommodating. My wife and I enjoyed meeting them and also the matron of the family. You can tell they reallyput their heart and soul into each sandwich that they made. My visit was on 5/4/21 @ 1:20 p.m. The employees working at this location are rude and treat customers like they are doing us a... favor. With all of the restaurants nearby to stop for lunch, they should show more appreciation for customers. Since customerservice skills clearly aren't obvious to them, some examples are: 1. Greet the customer; 2. If a customer ordered online and isstanding in your designated area, say something to indicate you are aware they are waiting; 3. When you approach a customer whohas been waiting, it's a good idea to greet them again instead of walking up and rudely asking for their name. I willdefinitely choose any other restaurant but this one when I am in this area. Read more
This has to be the Slowest Port of Subs in town!! 3 people in line including me, and 2 employees that barely moved! It wasn't... even busy or the other customers had complicated orders! They were just very slow! So slow that they didn't even want to speaklouder! Or to keep the place clean! Like everything behind the counter was in slow motion!! I hope I don't get sick eatingthere! Perfect! They made me an delicious lettuce wrapped sandwich. Gluten and dairy free. The guys here are very nice.
4/25/22---6:30pm---The young ladies in here were wonderful. Very nice,very helpful. We always feel kinda bad coming in close to... closing but they were so nice regardless. Certain industries have had some real issues these days with employees that clearlydon't want to be at their job but that wasn't the case with these girls. Definitely will be back to this location.
