This is a cool neighborhood fro-yo and ice cream spot that has been around awhile in Mountain?s Edge. We?ve only had the... fro-yo. The fro-yo and topping selections are good and the counter service has been friendly when I?ve been there. However,the stuff we get is pretty much self-serve. In the many times we?ve been there we haven?t had the ice cream, but it looks good. I hope they stay open a long time because we like being able to go a short distance for nice cold treat! Read more

We get frozen yogurt from Poppy's 2 to 3 times a month. The yogurt is good and the staff is friendly. The store is usually... clean. Unfortunately, it was not the case two nights ago. We were there at about 830pm and upon entering, I immediately noticedhow dirty the floors were. The floor was so sticky and dirty it was quite the turn off. We then went to get our yogurt and thestations were also very dirty. It appeared as if the yogurt dispensing stations had not been cleaned all day. There was driedyogurt on all of the grates. On our way out, I noticed that several tables were dirty and had dirty napkins left on them. I hopethat this is a one off and that maybe it was a group of new staff. Read more

Poppy's is a great place to get the classic " Thrifty ice cream " , although most of the flavors aren't traditional in any... sense. The employees really need to be trained in organization because most of them created more chaos than the customers!! Read more

Always a good experience at poppy's. I love the gluten/dairy free options available to me when I'm trying to avoid them. I wish... the lemon froyo was there more often because mixing pinapple and lemon together is such a bright happy summery experience.Watermelon is also totally acceptable but I am biased. Read more

Great ice cream spot but they need to bring back peanut butter cups as a topping. Some kid who had an allergy to peanuts ????... got that as a topping two times in a row so his mom came in and yelled at the staff. She told them to take it off the menubecause her kid gives into his cravings too easily. The owner unfortunately entertained this mom and took off peanut butter offthe menu for everyone. ???? I would offer an alternative solution then taking it off the menu. Put up a photo of the kid withthe words ?don?t let this kid eat peanut butter? ???? that should do the trick? Read more

we went out for ice cream here on Wednesday, I thought the selections of ice cream and frozen yogurt were all excellent and... delicious.... my kids really enjoyed the thrifty's ice cream.... the benches were very cheaply made and very difficult to sitin.... but hey I get it it's an ice cream parlor.. no biggie. This place was a great pick specially they have one of my favorite ice cream place ?Thrifty? back in Long Beach California... ????????. Frozen yogurt is to die for, so smooth and creamy. I also grab a pint for Rocky Road. I highly recommend thisplace. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. Read more
