I've come to this place lately and lately they've messed up every single order, if they don't forget part of the combo they give... you the wrong items. Managers have no experience or customer service just like the rest of the staff. Not coming back any timesoon, the drive thru doesn't get the orders right and the inside of the store is mostly dirty. I stopped here this morning 08/28/22 after being out early getting an oil change and doing a little shopping with my elderly... mother. She wanted to stop and get some Popeye's before I dropped her off at home. It was 9:50am when we pulled up and parked weknew we had to wait til 10am which was fine, but when 10am hit we could not get in the doors we saw a woman come out about9:58am and thought she was unlocking the doors but she might have been locking them. My mother tried to get in to place herorder at 10am and nobody would come to the door so after about 3 mins of trying I told her just get in the car and we'll go thruthe drive thru. No one answered at the drive thru speaker so I pulled up to the window and a lady was standing fixing her hairin the front next to the front cashier and just waved her hand like we are not opened. So I honked my car horn and she just keptfixing her hair and ignored me. I kept yelling what time will you be opened and she continued to ignore me so I honked again andshe continued to walk back and forth ignoring me the workers in the back just kept looking overvat me and working, finally about5 minutes later and me yelling and honking a youg lady came to the window and said they are running behind and the chicken wasjust starting to cook. I said all I wanted to know was what time so I could come back but for your staff to just ignore acustomer when your sign says you open at 10am was RUDE. And she was fixing her in the food area she could've just gone to thebathroom since no customer was in there, that was nasty and unsanitary. I'm not a fan of fried chicken in general, but I totally love their chicken sandwich as well as their fries. They have... interesting sides being Louisiana style food, didn't try them because I'm obsessed with the fries but I think is good they haveother options. Service was fast and courteous, the place wasn't that busy but we went on a week day around 4 pm, honestly Ithink they deserve more hype but the location is not ideal, they are next to a gas station and on the other side they're on theprocess of building a Dutch bros but there is still a big empty lot around it. I went through the drive through and ordered 3 spicy chicken sandwich meals, an extra spicy chicken sandwich and a spicy tenders... meal. He repeated my order back to me and everything was right. Got to the window and somehow he had only changed me for 2sandwich meals, an extra sandwich and the tenders meal. Realized the mistake and asked if I could just add on, and pay for thethird sandwich meal because I still had the same amount of mouths to feed. He then proceeded to charge me for only a drink andfries because I "had the extra sandwich already". I tried to explain to him I needed 3 meals plus an extra sandwich and he justdidn't get it. Finally gave up and went home only to get home and find NONE of my chicken was spicy, including the sandwiches,they were all mild, and while I had ordered all sweet teas, I was given all cokes. This was 2 weeks ago and all corporate keepstelling me is "we will escalate the problem." No resolution. Customer service on every level has been a 0. Read more
Popeye's is still probably one of the best tasting chicken places. But, some portion sizes can be average to below average. Of... course, I am talking about the wings and drum sticks. But a lot of places that serve chicken are going that route also. Hey, Ihave to be honest. It's not what it used to be, mainly due to economic influence. But still a good place to get chicken. I have never had Popeyes this bad before! I got the blackened chicken sandwich and popcorn shrimp. The sandwich and shrimp were... both old! My fries and drink was the best thing from my meal! I wouldn?t allow my worst enemy to eat here! Lol Read more
