Reviews for PKWY Tavern Flamingo in Las Vegas, NV
Ray is the absolute worst. Ray is the bartender with green bangs. She was serving a splash of champagne and mostly orange juice... during bottomless mimosas. 1 person out of our table of ten requested them to be more champagne and less orange juice. sherefused saying this was more efficient for the bar as she had them premixed in pitchers. We looked around and counted only 6people doing bottomless mimosas. We understand efficiency as we work in the service industry and understand how it can besometimes. We did not make further requests and the dude that requested the more champagne in his mimosa moved to beers. We hearray, who raised her voice only twenty feet way from our table, saying she thought we were cheap. No mam, you just don’t knowhow to bartend. Please keep her away from tables. She lacks self awareness. Read more
Bottomless mimosas all day, everyday! Need I say more? Haha. (2hr limit). They also have some breakfast options served all day... and decent vegetarian options! Margherita pizza and brussel sprouts here were delicious. 2 of their mocktails were prettydisgusting (tasted like medicine/cough syrup), the mimosa mocktail was the only good one out of the 3 we tried. Also, this placeis dog friendly!!! We love it. Will be back! Read more
Best spot in Las Vegas IMO for great food, wonderful service. The chefs are cooking food with love, every dish I try I love and... I am picky. Some fave dishes: Quesabirria, chicken skewers, pepperoni pizza, chicken Caesar wrap - all great! Raye is the best, she takes amazing care of us each time we come in. We come back 2x a week for a great evening. Read more
Waitresses are friendly and professional. Had a Prime rib french dip. Was good but not quite what I was looking for in a... french dip. Steak fries were slightly under cooked. Made the mistake of sitting too close to the bar and had to move whensomeone lit up a cigarette while I was eating. Beer selection is good. Would like to try one of their coffees. It's a cleanand good looking place. Going to give it another shot. It might not be a good fit for me. But it is a good place. Read more
The classic breakfast was perfect in every way. The "french toast" loaf was disappointing. First, I would not want a loaf and... the menu doesn't explain it as a loaf. I also would not want the sauce that it was on because that made it soggy. The service isfantastic, all the staff I spoke to were very pleasant and helpful. Read more
My partner and I stopped here after bowling at the Suncoast. We've driven by Tivoli Village many times but we're always headed... somewhere else. This time we thought we'd take a chance with the neighborhood bar. The waitress was very friendly andprofessional and came over right away as soon as we sat down. Loved the light and spacious feeling of the tavern. The windowspulled back to have an entire open wall. Love the slight breeze and the Las Vegas temperature for change was perfect. We decidedto share something so we ordered the chicken wings. the chicken wings came with fries, carrots and celery. The chicken wingswere done to a nice crispy golden brown, but still tender and moist on the inside. Real chicken not pressed pieces parts. Thefries were pencil size fries. Which means they're just a little bit thinner than what you would get at a regular fast foodplace. They were seasoned nicely, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I always like the carrots and celery.Regrettably these were old, leaving the carrot kind of tasteless and soft and celery was slightly limp and old. Not very tasty.I did like the Ambiance and the cocktails were good. The service was good. We would come back but I hope they read the reviewand fix their carrots and celery. Read more
They have a pretzel there that is pretty darn good and we'd get any time we were in the area. The rest of the food was typical... bar food Read more
Service here is non-existent at the tables. All 3 times I’ve been here (at differing friends’ requests), we’ve waited at... tables to be served with staff walking by several times- for 15-30 minutes each time. The only reason we didn’t leave wasbecause we’d made the effort to get there and it was cold or hot outside (depending on the season per visit). Other friendswent there tonight, waited forever and didn’t even get their food after an hour of having their order finally taken. It’samazing this place manages to still operate. Read more
