Reviews for Pin Kaow Thai Restaurant Rainbow in Las Vegas, NV
While I had high hopes from reading good reviews, this place feels overhyped. The extremely expensive 21.54 pineapple fried rice... was sub par. Specifically, the only way I can quantify it is that it tastes more like a $11 quality meal. The flavors are goodbut that's the highest compliment I can give it. The cuts of pineapple were large and didn't appear consistent in the cut shape(possibly rushed prep work) and there was maybe one shrimp (edit: 2 pieces total) in the whole dish. Plain and simple its notworth what they are asking, in fact it kind of feels like a rip off. Look elsewhere. Read more
We visited this restaurant for dinner midweek and didn't make a booking however there was space available. It has a very nice... atmosphere and the decor has been created in a very tasteful Thai style with lots of dark woods and carvings. This gives it avery atmospheric feel. Our waitress was very attentive and visited to table a few times as we were quite slow in deciding. However, the drinks all arrived very promptly and then our order was taken with a good explanation. The starters were allcooked very well and presented nicely. My spring rolls were quite large, well fried with a lovely stuffing and the sweet chillisauce was probably more sweet and not so chilli. My main dish was Pad Thai with vegetables and no egg to make it vegan with aspice level of 7/10 which was actually mild for Thai cooking however, for most it was probably a good level of heat. It was wellpresented and again a large portion, which towards the end I was struggling to finish. The prices are very reasonable for LasVegas and the food is very good. Thank you for a lovely experience. Read more
Good food but the fact that their menu items have gone up 60-70% is obscene. This used to be 6.95 now it?s 10.95. The hotpot... used to be 10.95 now it?s 17.95. There is absolutely zero reason for them to gauge the prices this high. I frequent thisestablishment but unfortunately I cannot when I get the same soup for the same price but DOUBLE the size Read more
The ambience when you first walk in is relaxing. Soft music. Our host was Hannah, she was amazing. Once we told her it was our... first time eating Thai food, she lit up, told us all about it and helped with spiciness levels. The food was AMAZING. Greatportions for the price. The jasmine tea is very relaxing, I wanted to sleep in the booth lol I usually don?t even drink hotbeverages until their cold but it was the perfect temperature! The Thai dessert is a MUST. We were gonna go for the ice creambut wanted something more authentic for the experience. The mango slices with sticky rice in coconut milk was it! Beautifulpresentation and taste. All in all, the experience was lovely and relaxing, HANNAH was amazing and enhanced our experience. Wewill be back whether take out or dine in. 5 stars ?? ???????? Much love to Hannah, she really made our experience worthremembering and her knowledge is great ???? Read more

I?ve always been curious of this place as from the outside, it doesn?t look much but there?s always a wait by the doors so one... day we got curious and checked it out? Well, it surely didn?t disappoint! Their shrimp pad thai and fried tofu are superdelicious! They ask you what spice level you prefer and if you like extra spicy, just tell them ?Thai level? and they?ll make itaccordingly. Their prices are justified for what the food quality tastes and they also offer a variety of different wines tochoose from. The server was super helpful and made sure we had a great entire experience. I definitely recommend coming here forauthentic Thai food and friendly service! Read more
First time to try authentic Thai food. The staff were so courteous, friendly and helpful. I loved how light and refreshing the... vegetable rolls were, how creamy and tasty the yellow curry was, how good the shrimp rolls were, and how sumptuous andflavorful the chicken Thai rice was!!! All the other dishes names that I couldn't remember were good too! But the one dish thatI couldn't get over until now which I almost devoured had my tummy not been that full yet, was the papaya salad!!! It wassomething!!!! Yum!!!!!! Great gastronomic experience! ???????????? Read more
I got the yellow chicken curry and the chicken pad Thai. I didn?t like how they don?t put carrots or green bell peppers in the... curry like most places do. It was bland. Also, the portion isn?t a lot so it seems over priced for what you get. But the padThai was good, except for the huge pieces of chicken you have to keep cutting in every bite. Read more
