All of the food was amazing except for the hashbrowns. They had a rancid oil taste to them. Maybe the chef used fry oil to brown... & crisp them but I can't confirm that. The food presentation was picture perfect and the portions were plentiful. The wait staffwas top notch, attentive and friendly. Read more

Good Service, Average Food Review for Pegs Glorified Ham n Eggs, 9905 S Eastern Ave #100, Las Vegas, NV 89183, about 11am on... Saturday, May 21, 2022. This little restaurant is tucked away in the Sunset Station parking lot toward the west end near thestreet. Open only for breakfast and lunch. Sorry, but only 3 (three) stars, two for the food, and an extra star for the goodservice. It was a little busy when we went in, but the service was very good, and we were seated and had our drinks withinminutes. It?s a small restaurant, seats maybe 100+ people in booths and tables. Kudos for full silverware and condiments on thetable, even individually wrapped butters. The kitchen is in full view, but a bit hard to see from our table. There was also asmall outside seating area with umbrella partially shaded tables for 2-4 people. My son ordered the Enchilada Omelette,house-made spicy chicken w/ crispy tortilla strips & jack, topped w/ ranchero sauce, sour cream & smashed avocado. I ordered afavorite of mine, a BLT sandwich bacon with lettuce and mayo on toasted sour dough with a side of fries and ranch dip. Plus, aPepsi and coffee to drink. The coffee was a fresh, medium roast, little bitter, no hazelnut. The soda had an average amount ofsyrup. Service was good but the food was mediocre. It had the taste of small casino café food. Just bland to poor in taste. Myson?s Enchilada Omelette plate was a nice presentation of poor food, huge and pretty, but had the taste of canned sauce. Thebeans were good, and the chicken was okay, then the slaw was just awful. Anyone can make good slaw. This slaw tasted likestraight weakened vinegar with some gawd-awful spice. My fries were good, crunchy on the outside, but the ranch dip was veryrunny, ehh, wouldn?t even stick to the fries! The bread on the BLT was barely warmed instead of toasted, and very heavy on thelettuce. I mean there was enough lettuce to make the sandwich twice it?s regular size, with a tiny layer of bacon, and m Read more

Haven't been here in a hot minute. The kiddo wanted breakfast at a place she hadn't been before. She got Stuffed French Toast... which she absolutely demolished and I got Chorizo Benedict. Chipotle sauce was awesome and had just enough kick to keep mereaching for my water. Great balance of heat and flavor. I definitely need to come here more often. Read more

Wanted to have a great breakfast so we found Peg's Glorified Ham and Eggs, which was one of the few breakfast places that opened... at 6:30. We were welcomed when we walked in and were able to seat ourselves. Ellanay served us and she is fantastic. She hasa great cheerful spirit and was great to visit with us. She provided some recommendations and I went with the Hawaiianbreakfast. I am a big fan of Hawaiian Blue Plate lunches. If you are the same then you are going to love this breakfast. Ithas rice, spam, and Portuguese sausage all topped with an egg of your choice. But wait, there is more. What would a Hawaiianmeal be without mac salad? Yes, this breakfast comes with a serving of mac salad that was very traditional flavors. Mix all ofthese items into each bite and you are in for a treat. I would definitely come back to Peg's and try some of their otherbreakfast options. There is a lot on the menu including other Hawaiian-style breakfasts, a great selection of creativebenedicts, skillets, and much more. If you are lucky enough to have Ellanay as your server you will have an amazing time. Read more

Food is great, service is great, a good mix of Hawaiian and also American breakfast plus there is a lighter menu and child menu... as well. The food is quality and very tasteful, if you want more flavor just add salt or pepper. It?s hard to find a goodbreakfast place around this side of Henderson that is not a chain. There is also omelet house which is also good, but I find thewaiters there can sometimes be too old fashion. This place is very up to modern times with service and appearance. I foundmyself a new breakfast spot! Read more

This is a small restaurant for locals. Service was fast but the food was just okay. I had the country fried steak with hash... browns. I usually love any potato dish but I could not eat the hash browns. They were soggy and tasteless. The gravy was full offlavor over the country fried steak. Read more
