We've been coming here repeatedly after stumbling upon it 4-1/2 years ago just two months after they opened. Chef Mike and... Laura, along with Uncle Sal and Aunt Cheryl (the wait staff all have aunt, uncle, or cousin before their names), and even themembers of the fantastic band, all truly feel like family now and they welcome us as such. Anytime we have a new visitor intown, we ALWAYS take them to My Mother's House. Anytime we have a repeat visitor, they insist we take them back again! Laurawill warmly greet you at the door and show you to your seat (reservations are STRONGLY recommended, especially on Friday andSaturday when Chef Mike and his band are performing). Chef Mike, who personally does the food prep each day using hisgrandmother's recipes, will come by every table usually before, during, and after your meal and chat a while. He's a greatperformer who sings lots of songs from the heyday of the Rat Pack Era, including his own hit song. He also plays the drumsextremely well. And the band has incredible talent. The food is wonderful - no favorites to recommend; whatever you get willdelight you. And the portions are large enough that nearly everyone takes some home to enjoy the next day.
